Wonderful. Singing to one's own string instrument used to be done regularly and it's commonplace for singer-songwriters in folk and pop genres. Balance and seamless interweaving between voice and instrument is a refreshing change to the usual disjointedness between singer and accompanist, and where the voice often drowns out the instrument. This is a superb example of how it should be done and with equal excellence of singing and playing! Another example is Marisa Martínez Esparza.

I have a recording of Dalla Porta D'Oriete by Marco Beasley and Kiya Tabassian to which I listen all the time and I've always thought it would be a lovely song to play on viol.
