The watch design looks fun. I just picked up a Tuseno Shellback and the Horizon would be another interesting watch to add to the collection. They missed the alignment on the 12 on the Orange color way. I love orange, but I might consider the Golden model.

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH

As a tourbillon does not give you information, it's not a complication. A date, a chronograph, a power reserve indicator, a minute repeater, those are complications

Regardless of Swiss made tourbillon, the exact prices of it are never unknown, however, tourbillon made by China shows the real price of the device, which means its price range is within several hundred dollars. In that sense, Swiss tourbillon is only a rip-off.

My personal thoughts about delma and particula this tourbillon. There is a lot to appreciate on Delma. As a forgotten brand from the back row they never get into the cheap "homage"copy cat way, as similar old forgotten brands did, as like Mathey Tissot for example. They kept to offer own ideas and designs, while just for uprising the sales it would be the easiest way to offer Rolex clones. This is something to respect. And as you said, to celebrate their 100th aniversary by saying "we are still here and we stay" is, to present one of the most sophisticated movement types is something that shows dignity. But saying that: Delma in general has for me personally no interesting model. As I said I appreciate their own way of design...but it's not mine. And those who doesn't have enough money for a tourbillon of an luxury brand, I would asume that even 15K would be a lot of money for them. Facing that a service on a tourbillon could easyly cost at least 1,500 CHF/EUR I would also asume that this would hurt their bank account and their whole pension saving plans. On the other hand...having a Delma Tourbillon in your hands wouldn't have any vallue on the secondary market. I (and perhaps most others) would rather deside for any iconic non-tourbillon watch from an established premium or even used luxury brand. Maybe there are just a few worldwide who were ready to buy this new....and even less who would pay the sandard 80% of the msrp as used. Not even half price. Maybe if they would offer less than 5K...like 3K. Someone who just want to have a Tourbillon for fun would be ready to buy. Means: those who want to buy this watch should be clear that they would burn at least 70% to 90% or even the whole 15K. If this wouldn't hurt you....go for it. But if I would have to deside, I would prefer an Omega Speedy, BlancPain Fifthy Fethoms, any Rolex or even pay little bit on top and get a used Lange 1. For those who just want to have a Tourbillon in their Collection but don't have the money to buy and service, they can fet a chinese modrl for few hundret bucks. But anyway....I don't wont to disrespect Delma. I think it was a great move im case of marketing. Not like the swatch omega colabo, but at least the enthusiast do talk about. And that's good for Delma I think.

I like all of them, they are very spectacular, but I miss rubber on the quartz versions. I would also like to see a titanium case & strap version with better water resistance..

I always found Electricianz interesting. But I also heared often complains about materials, fitting and feeling. It would had been more helpfull to get an review about the watch quality itself. I personally think, that technically a solar powering would had been much more attractive since I would love to play with the light.

It is exactly like my Sinn 103 with ETA Valjoux 7750 movement.

Mine was delivered yesterday by Laco. Quality! The thermally blued tipped hands are sublime and subtle as youll only see them in brighter conditions. The 43mm size will be commented on but any smaller and the dials will be less legible and the face more cluttered looking. The IWC chrono pilot and 2021 omega speedmaster moonwatch are 42mm. If you have "6. 3/4" - "7.3/4" wrists, this watch is going to look very masculine, and its presence won't look disproportioned. Lume is perfect and the ceramic bezel has a stealth feel to it, no gloss or shine. Functional watch and utilitarian, it's this quality that gives it it's beauty, rather like the tudor north flag and ranger BUY IT!

Love this watch & was tempted to get it when it was first released. So glad you’re highlighting it & Louis Erard! I have the LE X Alain Silberstein ‘La Semaine’ Blanche. Not my most expensive or horologically interesting watch, but it’s probably my favorite watch to wear … because it’s fun yet beautiful, quirky/distinctive yet comfortable, and a great conversation-starter. As you say, the Sellita movements LE uses are no-frills workhorses. But the designs, materials, and artistic techniques used in LE watches - including in this super-cool Label Noir collab - are what you typically find in far more ‘high-end’ (ie, very very expensive) watch brands. For instance, with my LE x AS: the mixed polished and blasted Grade 2 & 5 titanium case has beautiful De Bethune-style brancards (it’s not at De Bethune level, but hopefully you get the point:) that transition to lugs that attach to a clever articulating strap system; it has a really neat raised applied chapter ring as well as a lacquer dial that, to me, is better-looking than most enamel dials; and, of course, it has that singular Alain Silberstein design aesthetic, with its unique handset and brilliant day-of-the-week complication presentation.
