And Space, and Now: Quia fecit mihimagna qui potent est-
As sitting in stillness sets one right
With time,
Breath measured -
And gaze, and glance, free
Of memory, metaphors drop
Away; et sanctum nomen ejus
Now all fires lie concealed,
And alone, someone is there,
Here: untouchable, yet touching
Setting firmly an unknown path,
Gliding across every heir’s breadth. Et misericordia ejus a progenie in progenies
The horizon darkens, the senses
Dim, wrapped in mounds of brown leave. Timentibus eum-
Awe, distress, an anxious heart-
Night is drawing night! Refit potentiam in brachia suo-
To its utmost tip
Having followed the fade out Light
Of this day,
Yet still restless for rest. dispersit superbos mente cordis sui
Mind and heart together
See the invisible glow of every cell,
That flows uphill,
Casting off cares, dry husks
Empty walnuts
Where time no longer Holds.
