I appreciate you bringing humility to the conversation. Humility has always been the portal to true connection and collaboration. It is a pleasurable, rewarding experience to be around passionate people who are more excited about ideas than power. I related to the part you shared about people who don't believe the facts of our experiences - simply because the sheer number of them seem unbelievable. I have had some awful people flat out call me a liar when I've shared my life with them. These people only knew a sliver of me for a short period of my very eclectic life. I think polymaths often hide their full selves because where would we start? It is easier (and more enjoyable) to stay focused on our multiple criss crossing interests. In a former career, I had to constantly expend energy to navigate social dynamics, that only became more complex with success. It drained me; I felt I was wasting my life force on things that didn't matter in the collective big picture. A lot of the time, it felt like I was staring into the abyss and no one else could see that far with me. Everyone seemed so myopic. Perhaps this is the gift and curse of multidisciplinary thinking. It creates patterns or visions of different realities that could be. SO many possibilities, combined with keen embodied observation and curiosity. From a young age, we polymaths understand that we live in a co-created universe, yet we can't find others who want to create. Mastering the ability to be the participant of each of our interests while also the observer of all... develops a sense of groundedness amidst chaos. Yet, people are suspicious of someone who knows too much or breaks the mould. Who speaks out about the distortions and sees beyond the everyday. Polymaths uncover information that proves humanity is more similar than we are different. We are the great unifiers; our minds are eternally looking for the connection. This makes us threats to any system that wants to foster deception, disconnection and chaos. A perfect world would be spent sharing knowledge and experiences with people who also share their full selves without hesitation. Discovering our commonalities and creating solutions to our greatest challenges. It's what what we once did, in a time when we weren't expected to all be the same.

I was pretty good at science and biology and maths and languages in school. I studied art at university. Everyone wanted to know why. Because I got distinctions in all of these subjects. I've only realised, two decades later why I chose Art. Although I was really good at all the different things amongst my peers. But I was like number 2 or 5 or 10 etc. But in Art..I was number 1 and no one was better than me. Well...in my town and circles at least. That changed at varsity wahahaha. But that was how I chose at the age 17. When you're good at everything and don't know how to choose... Then choose the one that you are number 1 at? Although...looking back..I probably would have been richer by now if I went into the medical field or engineering or something 😂

I believe we all need to see ourselves as "Citizens of the world". I agree one must express their individuality and share their love for themselves as a beacon to love others for who they are. I'm interested in this topic. Last time, I did a course in college (more than a decade ago) I stumbled on a sociology: criminology. Fast-forward, I hit the topic "re-integrative shaming" and I love the concept, how to integrate criminals the right way back to their communities. Although, they will be shamed, yet the community must express their values as human and wish them to do well in the community like everybody else. Something to minimize any future criminal behavior, and its not only theoretical but there's evidence of this concept practiced with their own results.

Me thinking, its like an atheist who learns the Bible, Quran, Torah, and other monotheistic religions (Sabians) text to find a common ground between religious entities and building bridges through the discomfort being scorned or hated for bringing the idea to monotheistic religions to come together, if it means challenging the christian to read the quran, and vice versa with others and bring up the common values that they share together... As an atheist? That's hysterical, but plausible.

100% spot on. It’s so basic. We are designed to live amongst each other, help each other, socialize.. Mistreating each other is in direct misalignment with the design, and really not a useful strategy. The root cause of this mistreatment is because people are in chronic survival mode. It’s a better strategy for your life to be kind to others. That trickles out exponentially and comes back tenfold. You are right, our systems are outdated. They’re on the brink of collapse. Need more insightful people to actively engage in making the world better. Best strategy is to be of service to others and adaptable to change. I think we also have quicker visibility to the human condition and so I can understand how people have lost hope.

When you mean shared power, how far will the power be redistributed? USA had a civil war on that ideology (Federation vs. Confederdation). If power was widened to the people leading to direct democracy, then there won't be any need for representatives, thanks to phones and internet. However, that would lead to anarchy. A less restricted form of a federal governance is a confederation. I feel the people of America need to "upgrade" the constitution to a more modern one, since there is technology that changes the platform that did not exist 100s, 200s, or thousands of years ago. AI is just one part of the tool, but the infrastructure to build faster communications, transportations, information transfers has got a lot better than technology. Here's what I see (Spectating). If the youth of the American generation are disinterested in joining the military (which recruitment has gone down), the Department of Defense would use A.I. robotic machines (Mechs) piloted remotely by youths in their gamepads in real life for war applications.
