Here, I hit my glass ceiling of retention. I need to go back and review previous lessons to consolidate what I have learned in these lessons. When you finish your video documentation AND have nothing to do might a suggest an idea for us very slow learners? (and I can not imaging anyone willing to do this) But maybe do an an accompanying video with and "R" designator that presents drills of repetition reinforcing the lesson in the form of questions with time for the student to create a verbal response.Your teaching certainly is the father of learning but the mother of all learning and I'll quote you "Is repetition". No doubt you have thought of something like this but it is something that is missing from all the various Spanish instructions available. All that said, your instruction remains is the best product out there. Thanks for all your very hard work on behalf of us Spanish learners. God speed.
Thanks for the comments. Yes, I agree. Repetition is the Mother of Learning. I am very aware we need to review. I think you will greatly appreciate our newest lesson on Regular Verbs. It is review. Also, I am planning on creating practice exercises for perhaps Google Docs. Review is critical for retention. Again, thanks for your heartfelt comments. You are the best. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
You teach very lively, like we are in a class. I don't know how you have so little recognition and other channels that want to sell courses have millions of viewers.
Probablemente esta sea mi lección favorita hasta ahora. Esto realmente abre muchas posibilidades sobre cómo construir y conversar en español.
Muchísimas gracias por el comentario. Cada quien tiene sus lecciones favoritas. ....... Probablemente ésta es mi ........ Need the accent mark on the é of ésta bc there is no noun immediately after it. ésta = this one, esta = this. And use "es" after probablemente in the above sentence. 2nd sentence is perfect and both sentences are very impressive. You are doing awesome and I am humbled and impressed. Go Kernael711! Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Lo vi hasta el final ❤ Que divertido 🤩 Muchas gracias ☺️🏖️
Hasta el mero final . Great expression ....... until the very end. Love it Esther. Esther ..... one of my favorite songs is .... LUNA by Juanes. It is amazing. The Spanish is so beautiful, You have to listen to it,

I knew you would like it. Texas has a killer team this year. Sarkisian is doing a great job. Hook em horns!
So helpful, as always! Profesor Pablo, I would love to see a video of you going over what triggers the use of VN-1. I have noticed that Spanish uses the infinitive fairly often when English would use (-ing), like in “gracias por venir”, or “me gusta bailar.” In your E-book I see the verbs listed as VN-1 triggers (Grammar, #80), but I also see sentences like “Te vi corriendo” or “Cuidado cruzar la calle” that don’t follow those rules. I know that estar is a big one. Any input on this would be amazing - thank you so so much, señor!
Ok. I will be glad to develop an upcoming lesson dealing with this. Briefly .... Te vi bailar una vez. = I saw you dance once. but En el baile, te vi bailando con Juan. = At the dance, I saw you dancING with Juan. Cuidado AL cruzar la calle. (need the AL) - Be careful crossing the street. but Cuidado cruzando la calle. = Be careful crossing the street. Gracias por + infinitive (always) Certain verbs in Spanish call for the infinitive VN-0 but in English the VN-1 ing. I will get a lesson together. Thanks for such kind comments. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this lesson. It would be more complete If we had a full sentence: I would have done this if he had done…I use conditional plus imp.subjunctive…and one more tip - vosotros will make you reach 5k subscribers faster. 🍀🍀🍀
Thanks for the comments. At some point I will expand on .... vosotros. The "Double H" sentences with habría ado/ido + si hubiera ado/ido are upcoming very soon. I believe you will like the lesson. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Thank you very much for clearing this all up for us. You are the greatest!
Happy to help! I really appreciate when our learners reach out. I want to be responsive and do my best to clear things up. Keep hitting those lessons hard. It will all pay off with Spanish communication skills. Very excited for you and proud of you and your efforts. Have a great weekend coming up. Hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Great content and lesson. I believe the " hubiera " form is used in latin america.
Definitely. Knowing the "10 Piano Keys" and being able to play the Spanish Piano is becoming quite easy as ....hubiera + ado/ido = VN-92. No matter what is said, you can only do 1 of 10 things to a verb. This really simplifies everything. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Welcome back Professor! 😊
Hi Esther! Thanks for the .... welcome back. Take care. Hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Gracias Profesor Pablo. What would be the translation for the present subjunctive for haber? Please .
Haber in VN-8 Present Subjunctive. haya, hayas, haya, hayamos, hayan. Never used alone. 2nd part of a subjunctive sentence ... Espero que hayamos ganado. - I hope we have won. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
@@soyyoprofesorpablo Gracias Profesor Pablo.
Thank you profesor Pabllo. Excellent lesson as usual. Is next lesson from your residence 2?

Gracias otra vez Señor Pablo. Me gusta mucho estas vídeo clases de GUSTAR. Buen repaso y consolidación. Saludos. 😀🦘🦘🦘
De nada Paul. "Gustar" es un verbo importantísimo. Gracias por su comentario. Hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
The internet needs other language teachers (beyond spanish) to copy your format. Where's the French, Chinese and Japanese version of this?
How kind of you sir! Just trying to "cut to the chase" and provide lessons that lead to acquistion of Spanish speaking skills.
Awesome lesson (as always). I'm a bit confused though ... chatgpt is telling me that Deberia haber means should have and Hubiera means would have ... I believe you though :)
Both! There is a fine line between…. Habría + ado/ido = would have + ed and ….. Hubiera + ado/ido = should have. Some people will use one over the other and vice versa for WOULD HAVE. However, …. Habría + ado/ido can only mean …. Would have. Hubiera …. Can be used for would/should have Debería haber + ado/ido = optional less common…. Should have. I will do a complete lesson upcoming on these three. Thanks for sticking with this. It is one grey area of very, very few in the Spanish language. Much quicker and easier to say .. No hubiera dicho nada vs no Debería haber dicho nada. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo. 😉
Good explanation.
Glad it was helpful! Trying to make Spanish simple and fun and, of course, quick to learn. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Muchas gracias!

De nada. Siempre un placer y mi deber. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
Commenting from Florida. Please explain the difference between "Hubiera" and "Deberia haber". Thank you for all you do.
I think it’s that hubiera is the past subjunctive, referring to something that didn’t happen but might have, while debería haber is the conditional future(?), so its describing something that would or will happen if a condition is met. How am I doing, teach?
Hello. Our most recent lesson I believe clears all this up. Let me know if it doesn't. Thanks for your well thought out comment. It's great to have community members aid others. Have a great day. gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.

Where does this playlist fit in with your other playlists on grammar and sentence starters? Does it follow the book?
Great question. The ebook audio lessons all go in sequence with the written material in the ebook. The UA-cam video lessons are not in the exact same sequence but do progress from basic to advance with constant review thrown in. Hopefully this answer helps. Thanks for reaching out and Best Wishes on your language learning journey. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.

Again, commands are huge and in one way or another they all come for the Present Tense however the Irregulars are just that, irregular, and must be learned individually. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.
