I have a question, i bought a pair of Levi's bellbottoms 684 from 1976 they are new and I have worn them 10 times and I want to wash them. These will shrink 3% it says on the label to wash them with hot water.

Hey Ravi.... all these new G9's are a slim fit style .... i had one in the 80's .. but it was a roomier fit....do they still do the original cut? as a stockier Guy .. i'm after the original cut in the Natural.... in a 48"...... any help would be greatly appreciated

My worst Wally stain was candlewood on Halloween. I put it in the freezer and was able to peel it off. The black suede was only slightly discolored but still forced me to buy a new pair. I still wear them. This was Halloween in 1999. Clarks are very high quality and worth every penny.

Would be useful to comment on sizing and how the G9 jacket should look. I'm not sure whether I should go for quite a tight mod-looking fit, or size up one for a slightly more relaxed look. I have a G4 in racing green and that's similar to the G9 but doesn't have the ribbed sleeves and waist band. It's a slightly less sporty but hangs off the body very nicely. Looking to get a G9 in mist, natural or tan. Thanks for the video. Always like to visit Stuart's when in the area.

Yo! What are you saying man? In the 1970s the British Jamaican youth were wearing this clobber to dress up to go to Blues parties with Farrah slacks, croc shoes and woolen overcoats. We sometimes even wore a trilby hat or flat cap in the winter. Mods wore suits primarily but some wore the odd Gabicci. But the brand did not have that many stiles back in the 1970s. Truth be told, not only did Reggae icon ( the royal prince of reggae ) Gregory sport this gear, but many British Jamaican youth wore this like myself. I am 62 now, and still wear it. When in town, I always pop in to Stuarts. My staples are Barbour, Redwings, Paraboot shoes, Yaeger and Gabicci gear along with Levi 501 originals and of course Farah slacks. Long live the Yardie look.☝🏽

I have the snowpeak collapsible coffee pour over. I use Melitta Coffee filter and the filter broke twice. I now use two filters. How do I prevent breaking of the filter? Is the issue that the water at camp can be too hot? Or was the pour too fast? For now I just stick with using two filters…

I had a 501 in a green blue colour way excellent fit not tight at bottom perfect for all shoes,can't find another pair, as they ended in bin ,wish a could get another pair or 2, any ideas where to get a fit off 501 that was a dream denim not tight like now a days sad times as levis are to tight these days any help welcome 30,30

Can anyone help me please? I bought 501xx 1947 LVC size 31, I'm a 30", tried the soak in cold water, warm water and even washed them at 30° and got almost 0 shrinkage... how can I shrink them??

I had rigid jeans since I was a kid and even though they are a bit hard to break in they never hurt me or broke my skin, I would suggest to buy 2 sizes up in the waist because they do shrink more than one size but also in the width of the legs and don’t ever dry them in the drier machine, just air hanged them inside out

Complete BS. Levi’s sold out to cheap manufacturing. No way on earth a NC mill would have gone out of business selling to Levi’s unless Levis was pursuing the lowest cost producer. Levi’s lies. I consider myself knowledgeable about vintage Levi's 501 shrink-to-fit jeans having worn them since the late 1960s. Before wearing new 501 STFs I wash and dry them twice because they are so stiff it would hurt to wear them. Tricking people into wearing unwashed rigid denim for fashion considerations is testing their intelligence. Suggesting that a freezer can be used as a washing machine is disinformation.
