This area looks spectacular. I plan on heading out west in 2026 for an extended trip. I was surprised at how few people were out and about in the parks. Love trails through the rocks.

I had the tractor gutted switches out or jumped. Wire harness all separated goggle this goggle that Saw your video. That was it. Thanks

Yes, we love this campground and plan on returning with our boat. If going between Christmas and New Years (or possibly most of the year, this is just when we camped there in both 2022, and 2023-2024) bring your own bug spray with DEET. They don't sell it in the camp store, and only offer some "non-deet" "natural product that is not just over-priced, it also doesn't work. You need DEET for defense against the No-see-ums. Around Sunset, the No-see-ums swarm out of the mangrove areas, and attack. I had over 20 bites/welts on each leg (lost feeling after the first 4) from trying to hook the power, water, and cable to our rig, and the itching continued for another week.

Thank you so much for this video. For two days I fumbled around trying to diagnose why my lawn tractor would not start after the winter lay off. Sheer frustration is an understatement! At the end of the video I took your advice and read the Trouble Shooting Section in the Instruction Manual! I found that I had failed to engage the brake, and when I turned the ignition key the motor fired into life! With great jubilation I immediately awarded myself with Title: Knuckle Head of the Year!

I Took this trail about 25 years ago, there was little to no gravel and culverts missing, we forged thru the water in my late model Dodge Dually 4 X 4 , a time or two Wife wanted to know if I thought we would make it lol. Seen an equal number of Croc's and many beautiful birds. There were no pull outs or concrete any thing any where. We drove 1/2 or less your speed and loved it, came out after dark. My wife has passed now, but this was her most memorable trip we took. She rode 1/2 way on the tool box till a monster snake hanging above put her back in the cab quickly thru the sliding rear window. she moved with the grace of a snake.

I love the Everglades. I was fishing near Shark Valley years ago and had a great time. I need to camp down there to truly experience it. Nice job. PS. I did hear about the mosquitos but don't remember then being that bad when I was fishing.

I haven't visited Fort Pulaski yet. Although I have stayed in Georgia in a AirBNB, I haven't camped their yet so the map sticker is elusive at this point. Key West is my favorite place. Looking forward to trying a Love's overnight.

Should have went to Rimrock and Pounds Hollow , cave-in-rock since you was over by Garden of the Gods. Theres lot places like that in Southern Illinois burden falls and Ferncliff state park , Panthers Den, giant City, Little Grand Canyon , Bald Knob cross, larue pine hills , Inspiration point. Got Superman statue in Metropolis and Popeye in Chester.

Ham loaf AND ham salad! These were two of my granda’s specialities, made with a hand cranked meat grinder in the 1950s-1960s BC (Before Cuisinart). She would dot the top of the loaf with cloves before baking and serve with a sauce of melted apple jelly mixed with mustard. You were supposed to set the cloves aside when eating but I aways ate them. Great stuff!
