We will stay safe. And thank you. I’m about to check the status on the fire again this morning. 🙏🏻🙏🏻. I just checked. It has grown now to approximately 1100 acres and is now 20% contained. We will get a clearer picture when it’s light out. It’s only 6:18 am right now.

Thank you Jean. It’s grown to over 200 acres now and is moving down to a ranch near structures. They requested night flying helicopter and two planes. The wind here is terrible right now and no humidity which does not help. Firefighters are my Hero’s. My late husband was a firefighter for 30 years.

My uncle was there for basic training in the early 40s. The construction started immediately after Pearl Harbor was attacked. The navy made an error and sent the wrong blue prints to Athol to build the naval base. The Idaho base blueprints got sent to San Diego ( all buildings with steep roofs for snow fall) and the blueprints for the San Diego base were sent to Idaho ( flat roofs and Spanish architecture.) 🤦🏼‍♂️
