@@EastCoastCurt I did an awful amount of research before buying, watched countless videos and reading reviews on Amazon, this one seems to check all of the boxes of the things I'm looking for, I mainly want it to travel locally and it comes with a back basket and since it folds up I'd like to keep it in the back of my crv as an emergency get home vehicle.... Btw does this bike have cruise control?... Some say it does and some say it doesn't, others don't mention it, however investigating the photos on the screen I see the same symbol my car has for cruise control..

When purchasing I looked at the watt hours of the battery and max power output. I haven't had the opportunity to test any Jackery models. I too purchased this for camping. I searched and found some smaller 100w panels that work nicely with it. See review on our channel.

That's easy. The battery. With a lot of dual motor Ebikes when using both motors and high speeds the battery goes down quickly. But not this one.

Pretty fun bike. It's on the heavier side but so is a Ar grizzly.

@@marvjackson2347 Yeah understood. I'm still figuring out this whole UA-cam/video editing and all. Self taught but willing to learn by trial and error. Nice I really enjoy the S8 I tell everyone it's a bargain grizzly. 31.7 out of the box with the S8 and gps 48 with the Romeo 2. The screen has a 5mph variance at higher speeds.

@@marvjackson2347 Only thing I've tried with the S8 is a 52v battery. It gave it a little more punch. Made a video about that too. Other than changing the voltage I've never messed with other settings.

No but good eye . I do a lot of 68 CALIBER paintball so predictive text must have thought that first compared to caliper.

Just fine . We had them down south for about a month. In the intro of video we went over the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge, Charleston, SC . I'm 180lbs plus gear and a suitcase and bike performed perfectly.

We were going down a large hill on the speed run. And as mentioned the bike has a 5mph variance compared to the on screen reading.

Yes the controller would probably need swapped out. I doubt it would last long with 60v

It's easier to move around being lighter. Has turn signals and cruise control my grizzly didn't have. Glad I sold my grizzly a few months after I sold it . It stopped working and Ariel Rider wouldn't sell my friend parts because him or I wasn't the original owner.

Yes . But that would depend on your local laws. In PA if we ride with traffic we have to follow the same laws as other vehicles. Like red lights and stop signs etc.

Well it is probably the cheapest bike with a 60amp controller. I'm sure it could be upgraded as well.

If the battery is full and speed setting is 5. The next thing I would look into is the controller. It's located under the seat.

Yes it has a slight difference. Slightly faster acceleration. And gained 1 mph faster top speed. It's an easy upgrade. Next upgrade would be the controller if you wanted to get more out of it.

After rewatching your original review this 52v battery definitely has more ass and acceleration....But a 60v battery I think could get you close to 40mph

@@jahbrake9791 there's a good chance but the stock controller couldn't handle 60v .

Very fun bike. I would recommend getting the handlebar riser that ghostcat offers.

That option wasn't available until after I got the bike. It will bring the handlebar higher for us taller guys.

That's correct and the larger wheel model is more powerful. We just prefer 20inch so we can compare it to the grizzly and other bikes we've used.
