Label all the things, perfect labels with the Niimbot B1 thermoprinter
In this video I show how I was able to significantly optimize my label process. With the help of a thermal label printer from NiimBot, I am now much faster and, above all, more mobile. The devices are often available for less than 30€ including labels, which doesn't make the process much more expensive.
Of course, there are also some disadvantages, especially due to the way Niimbot wants to sell original labels. This is done via a kind of copy protection, which is built into the corresponding original labels via RFID.

NOTE: It seems that the bags are better found under the name Top Loading Packing List / Shipping Label Envelopes. The label generator I use can be found here: www.orglikea.pro/label-generator Welcome to our latest video, where we'll be showing you how to use euroboxes as a foundation for an organized workbench! Euroboxes are a fantastic tool for keeping your workspace organized and efficient. I...
Hi, does the NFC tag have a countdown or a limit on the number of labels it can print? For example, if the original roll has 120 stickers, can you print additional (aftermarket) stickers beyond the 120 provided?
There is unfortunately no official documentation. What I can say for sure is that the data stored on the labels changes after a print (8 bytes). Additionally the GitHub project github.com/MultiMote/niimblue can read out a max labels and printed labels via the printers interface (rfid). For this it appears to me, like there is a counter. I cannot confirm it yet, as i did not reach the end of my original label. Personally I like the printer but really dislike such locking functionality, especially if not communicated on the product information.
Not working on iOS
Hmm, seems like Safari does not support the Bluetooth API yet. On Chrome it works on Windows and Android like a charm.
Great vid. Just please drop the music...
Thank you for the feedback. The new one is changed, I hope not too strong 😅
hey this is an awesome idea! next, how about making a drawer for tools to convert the box as a tool cart?
Hi @space_cowboy007, always open for ideas. What you mean in detail?😊
@@OrgLikeaPro in tool carts you have tool drawers that you pull with one hand and then fetch an item inside with the drawer still attached to the frame, whereas in the video's design one has to pull & remove the box, then open it to fetch the contents. eg. ua-cam.com/video/MlOIunjlefk/v-deo.html
Nicely done!
Great idea! I find the music is a little too high to hear you talking though
Thank you for the feedback!😊 I will try to balance it next time a bit better.
been waitling for a channel like this plz upload tips for organizibg different areas
Hey, thank you for the delivery note pocket tip, I also have a bunch of these boxes and currently use painting tape to label them, I was thinking about something like a mini whiteboard to write on it, or paint markers but this is way better ! Oh also, would you mind sharing your label creatino software ? :)
Thank you for the feedback! 🙏 Painting tape is also great if you have a nice handwriting (unfornuatly not me 😅) I thought I added the link to my label generator allready, but it seems like I missed it. 🙈 Thank you here for the reminder. It is this one www.orglikea.pro/label-generator build by my own (an for this a bit beta 😉). It has several predefined types. If you need one format more often, just let me know than I can add it to the templates as well.
@@OrgLikeaPro Thanks ! About the formats, my boxes have a shape that does not work with the delivery note size, so I plan to use A6, as we can theoritically put 4 A6 on a single A4 sheet, it would be nice to have a "vertical A6" template, with 4 labels (rotated by 90° or with a landscape A4 pdf) ! Also, we should be able to use custom icons for "special" stuff, for example I have a box with chargers (ac/dc converters), and I can't find a suitable icon in the list, same for a box containig trowels and spatulas for construction work
Sorry @VincPadFR , I somehow oversaw this one. 😖 The A6 should work fine, just add the values to height and width (105x148), maybe 1mm less to prevent wired line breaks. For the icons you ask, I use the excellent material icons. If you google for "mdi icons" you find a great overview, which loads a bit faster and gives you a nicer overview. The name can then be used 1:1 in the label generator. For AC/DC I used the "power-plug" icon so far.
No the most common size is 60x40cm and for the love of god I don´t understand why the Chinese have stackable, collapsible boxen with a side window and the Germans don´t. Look at old Zarges boxes from the 50´s 60´s, they are collapsible, light, super heavy duty WTF happened with Germany.
Every kind of eurobox exists, with window and without, foldable and fixed. What is most important for boxes you are looking for?
Excited to see your video on gridfinity. I kind of wish there was a 50mm one so it fitted better in euroboxes
I am working on exactly the Gridfinity and eurobox harmonization. Stay tuned 😁
Great advice, thanks for sharing👍🏼
