Some part of individual consciousness remain if it is programmed to exist independently without bodies. They are staying in cosmos for a collective purposes mainly. By and large consciousness of a man doesn’t surpass if it is not evolving. If there is a need and purpose to evolve then exists post death and wait for the right candidate to come up with the exact eligibility. There it takes over and evolves further. In the algorithms of consciousness, there are 3 types. 1 evolving 2 stuck in cycles 3 degrading . 3 rd will also take embodiment but to degrade and decay from 3 d to 2 or even lesser.
Collective consciousness exists without bodies. However consciousness is not controlling it itself. It doesnt create any output per se but act as a buffer or mega filter system. So hacking consciousness is never the key. Its infinite and the game will be infinite and youd get lost in its awe of pursuing it. Never chase the maya/ illusion. Consciousness is maha-maya. Maha means the greatest. Maya = illusion; 😂 So where does these algorithms appear or come from? Its from your every deed thought interaction violation cause and effect. Your current life and actions write your future. Collective consciousness reflects the collective karma/ deed/action/good/bad/evil/divine/caring/truth/false etc. whatever you do pave the way to the future. So choose the right path its neither left or right but the middle. The balanced way. Good or bad? Both! Good to gooders but bad to baddies. Must we know how to use them wisely and rightfully. This is the sign of evolving soul or individual consciousness.
Any degrading or stuck consciousness mostly repeating the same mistakes in every action they do. So their future will be degrading or stuck. Only right karma can change the future and karma is the key to consciousness and the great emptiness void. A low soul level can never reach realms of consciousness ( infinite) and higher- the loop less formless loops of void. These states cant be accessed by a low level soul without evolution. They max go intellect matrix 3 and 4 th D. And never land in 5 th or higher. Each dimension is accessible only by a worthy soul not by dmt or such. Even if observed they given no powers within the accessed dimension. So observing is a visitor pass. This is why mind is a matrix and humans can never come out of its loop via rabbit hole. Talking about consciousness without true and genuine personal experience is an intellectual ego thing but experiencing it reveals you the shambala or dimensions above fifth from within ones own inner awareness. Mostly humans can only operate mind nothing above ! 😂

But how would you anchor it? The existence of the counterweight means it's pulling up, how can you anchor that much mass without it just ripping a chunk out of the earth?
The anchor isn't to keep the tether from going up, it's to keep it from moving along the surface from wind and such, so there is a fixed place to board and exit the elevator. The counter weight means it will always hang vertically at the same altitude and mostly move with the earth just like any other satellite does. The counter weight is balanced against the gravity yes, but also the average wind pressure along the volume of the tether, so it acts like a rigid body but isn't actually rigid at all. It's just a very long rope made of a very flexible but non-tearing material. And it would take like a day to go up and down, just to be clear, not be like minutes. The idea isn't to be faster than a rocket, but to be cheaper and reusable. So in conclusion, the anchor isn't going to rip out part of the earth, because the counter weight is going to be designed to match the force of the tether, not to be pulling against the planet. Just to be providing the exact balancing force. So it can't be "good enough", it will have to be the exact weight and adjust during storms or such by using thrusters and moveable weights.

The mythology part is actually incorrect, Uranus and Neptune are not brothers. In Greek mythology, Ouranos (Uranus) is a primordial being, the embodiment of the sky. He, along with Gaia, the Earth, gave birth to the titans, who in turn gave birth to the gods, including Poseidon, the Greek equivalent of Neptune. So perhaps grandfather and grandson, but not twin brothers.
