Not nearly as good without Howarth's vocals/guitar.
It would be cool if there was a demo hiding somewhere with Eric Carr on vocals.
Great video !! I've always the drum fills after the guitar solo
Great tune, with an excellent feel thanks to the incredible, inspiring drumming of Anton Fig.
FREHLEYIZHERE27... WHAT IT IZ... ANTONZ THE SHIZZNITT
Anton is such a sick drummer . He's one of the best out there
There's "that sound" ,.. unmistakable Ace
Frehley's comet could of been a whole different beast
Straight up rock. Mistakes and all. THATS WHY I LOVE IT!
Anton is a great drummer.
Anton fig the guy who never been in Kiss despite... being in kiss.
It's a shame Richie wasn't on the first Frehley's Comet record.
Wow. \m/
Anton you worked with Ace a lot. As a highly sought-after session musician who made it to the big time on the late show, I think that says a lot about your choice to work with Ace as a fellow musician You guys must have had a great time making music together. I enjoyed hearing Doc McGee talking about his preference for hanging out with Ace rather than "the other two windbags" Ace was apparently just a lot more fun😂
Saw one of your clinics in Weathersfield ct .Creative drum center . with Bob Gatzen rip ... great show !!
👍👍👍
ACE
This and Rip It Out from Ace's 1978 solo are two of my favorites. Anton Fig is a monster !
Where has this video been hiding? Great job, Anton. Ace was always my favorite from KISS.
It's Anton Zip!! Always loved your drumming. Ace solo album is phenomenal, wouldn't have been as good without you.
Never saw this. The band is tight
Awesome version of this song!
Cool vid great guitar from both.
Good version but not better than the oficial, recorded in the album. Tod Howarth did a amazing work on vocals.
Personal opinion. I hated Todd's vocals.
Anton, you have always been an amazingly good drummer (and were nice as hell when I met you in the old days), and you and Ace have always just "grooved" when you play together - you fit together perfectly in the pocket you create. Eric Carr would have loved this rendition, I think.
Hi Anton im a huge KISS fan with my own museum with merch 🙈🙈i also gonna try cover every KISS song there is and my channel is little special i always try play exactly as the original drummer 🙂🙂always when destiny pick songs youre involved i know...okay now its gonna be problem 🙈😂youre an amazing drummer for sure 🥁🌟🌟🌟I wonder if you have time give me your opinion on my cover of Rip it out it should feel awesome 🙏🏻🙂i wish you all good things and thanks for your work in KISS 🙂i also have a Spider album its great 🥁💪heres the link ua-cam.com/video/L_9B-TiM74I/v-deo.htmlsi=fv549nGVHRxIevql
Love this version of the song too. I'm guessing this was in the mid 90's, right before the Kiss reunion.
My buddy Richie still rocks hard, Steve Warner replaced Anton in the band. Richie and Steve play the New York area all the time in there perspective bands. Steve is in Snapahead and Richie Scarlet is headlining wherever he plays.
Awesome
Crystal clear Ellect
Where did this suddenly come from
space,'Jendell'.
I can't believe this. Awesome
Dear Anton! Is that You played with Jeff Healey at Letterman Show in 1990 ?? 😮
Anton’s simply amazing!!
Fantastic job on this song, everyone was on fire!
ACE is the only ex KISS member to be a total success. Not easy to do after leaving such and iconic band.
When you have a lot of real friends, they can get you out of any ass and achieve success! The proof is one cool guy charged at 10,000 volts.🤘😎🎸
Ace Frehley is a Fuckin joke 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣 😂 😃 Now. He can't play guitar anymore 2:12
Blondie Chaplin on backing vocal?
SAW IT LIVE IN 85..GREAT ALBUM...TODD WAS A GREAT SINGER ON THE ORIGINAL, THIS BROTHA GAVE IT A GOOD BARK...NICELY DONE GENTS.
Awesome!!
Anton, Keith I love this want to see more
Wow, Thanks Anton
Thank you Anton! There I am waving to you at the 1:19 mark. 😀 I regret listening to the Late Show staff yelling “No Photos!” as the audience left the theatre. I should have just whipped out my camera and started snapping shots. Heck, considering the set was dismantled and chucked in the alley in the next 48 hours I should have just walked onstage and started grabbing souvenirs. 😉
As the great Paul Shaffer once said, “Let’s trash this dump!”
love dave miss him
Anton is one of the greatest drummers I have ever seen..Ace is as always delightful.
Never heard/saw this before. But I'm a big fan of Ace Frehley AND Richie Scarlet AND Anton Fig. This song is fantastic!
Is that the bass player that's a blast from the past???
Lol featuring Ace, that’s Richie Scarlet! Great band too. And the drums top notch!
Insanely good!!!!!
Are you kidding me?? That was awesome! Once again Anton is the cherry on top of aces solo work. I thank you sir for your great work, but please do not get in any car with Ace again.
No Will Lee?
Yeah....who is the this bass player?
@@vanholmead7936 I’m assuming it’s the chap from the album recording
@@adamdrummer1991 I can only assume that Ivan Neville would not appear on the show without his bassist, because Will Lee played bass on the original recording.
@@vanholmead7936 it looks like Neil Jason who often subbed for Will Lee.
@@DampRabbitVideo yup. Got it
