I love you
Coding is amazing but you gotta be working on the right thing.
I was taking a beating from ChatGPT on HackerRank ... I couldn't even understand the questions and I am a senior dev hahah 🥲
current AI is making so many mistakes, that it's more work to check everything. although that could change if they improve the underlying technology instead of just using more and more data to train larger AI models. but regardless, we shouldn't compare ourselves with AI, but see it as a tool. just like we don't compare ourselves to a calculator. in my opinion, a lot of the things we do are a silly waste of time anyway and there will most likely always have to be someone to tell the computer what to do for a long time to come, including programming AI itself
Definitely ❤
Good shape tho

@@raphaelv9197 No, wrong. I only take a few collabs and never of something I don’t stand a 100% behind
I love you
I started coding very young (i would code like 16hours a day and not have a problem, now i spend 2 hours and i would probably sit up and walk around the house a little bit and code) now i can relate to that I changed career from coding to video editing because of that primarily and because in 2020 it was a really fast way to make money and i couldnt find a job as a developer, i now am thinking on coming back not coding but probably cybersecurity. I feel like this is something that needs to be talked about, and i hated that too many people was saying in 2019/2020 and before also but those years in particularly "Hey come learn to code its a really fast way to make money look how much they are being payed" and the reality is that you need to be a problem solver and like to think a lot. Hey Lenka, Since you're thinking about chaging careers probably what is a field or something you would like to try ?
It sounds like you're searching for something that keeps you engaged and fulfills your need for deep thinking and problem solving. Regarding your question about my thoughts on career changes: I've been considering postdoc positions in machine learning research for cybersecurity, which is quite a shift from my current work. Alternatively, I've thought about something entirely different, like transitioning into full-time content creation. However, I share a similar hesitation - turning a hobby into my work might strip it of the joy it brings me. I'm weighing the potential for personal satisfaction against the risks of losing interest in what was once just for fun 😕
Dope setup 🔥❤️
👍❤️
Seems to me that you are regretting learning to code (and doing it), don't forget that the IT industry has other roles that do not require coding. Consider a career switch to a role that doesn't have those negative things you mentioned. I do agree with the final messages in each section, but not with examples (it would take quite a lot of text to explain why). Particularly want to say that you don't have to learn everything (you mentioned blockchain, ai, etc), that would be crazy. Learn stuff that you need at the job and that you are interested in. The rest, don't worry about it.
@@josipsadek4425 Hey, thanks a bunch for your comment. I can’t imagine my life without coding and I am super happy that I learned how to code. Maybe it came across the wrong way. I definitely want to continue to code but have more creative freedom or be part of something bigger. You are right about not having to learn everything but I think there is a lot of pressure on people to keep getting educated about the newest technologies and adopt them when it makes sense (which it often times does).
@@dielenka Maybe just I got that vibe. Glad to hear I got it wrong. I am the same. I love coding. The best part is that I can start my SaaS by myself without anyone help, which gives huge flexibility.
Thank you very much for the information, it was great to hear your opinion. I'm waiting for my loop to arrive and I've seen a lot of reviews, and one thing that no one has mentioned yet is the vacuum sensation that some earplugs give, which gives me terrible migraines after a short time of use. I've heard that air passes through even when using the loops, so it might not give that feeling of air blockage, but I imagine that I'll find out and I hope I've finally found the solution.
@@mirellecandeloro Hey! Glad you watched my video. It’s true, I am using my loops without creating a vacuum sensation but I recently received my Loop Dreams and they definitely give me a vacuum sensation but I don’t mind. Which ones did you order?
@@dielenka I ordered engaged 2 for day by day and dream to sleep with, because I didn't think that I could use another one to sleep with. Now I'm a bit afraid, because I really suffered with the migraines caused by the vacuum, but I will give it a try. I will tell you later. Thank you.
That goes away after a few days or weeks. I had the same problem with my AirPods Pro 2 but now it doesn’t bother me at all.

Every word you said is exactly what I am experiencing. I made a career switch into software engineering a couple of years ago because I thought there were good opportunities there and so many people were saying good things about the field. The money is nice, but everything else you said is so true. Everyone I work with seems stressed out all the time and having to learn new things constantly is getting exhausting. I need a break and I'm not so sure about the future of this field. I don't think AI can replace every engineer, but CEOs sure think it can and that is affecting the current job market, whether it is true or not.
@@iyasugames I really feel where you're coming from, and I appreciate your honesty about your experience. It's tough when the reality doesn't match the expectations, especially after making a significant career change. The constant pressure to learn and adapt in tech is overwhelming, and you're not alone in feeling this way. I totally agree about your thoughts on AI. Remember to take rest and time off for yourself so you don’t feel burnt out :/
1) If you think you are supposed to sit at your desk all day, then that's the wrong mindset to have. You are free to get up and go for a walk to stretch. 2) Bug difficulty really comes down to experience and also tools available to you. You do need to realize that you are only allocated so many hours to a particular problem and it is a business after all. 3) Using AI is not the right approach to coding, I'm a senior software developer and have never used it once for any coding because let's be honest, it sucks at anything other than boilerplate code. 4) I'm actually dealing with the same toxicity in my workplace and this is good advice, just leave before it gets worse!
1. Absolutely agree that taking breaks and not being chained to your desk is vital but not always possible. I am trying to advocate for a healthy lifestyle but I still see 99% of coders sitting for the entire day. 2. Experience and tools do play a critical role. It's also valuable to consider that new tools and methods can offer fresh solutions and approaches. It’s generally not recommended to refuse to adapt and we see that AI is the future (unfortunately for many fighting against it) 3. While AI might not be suitable for every coding task, it's increasingly becoming better and being integrated into many aspects of software development. AI can help automate repetitive tasks, suggest code improvements, and even detect potential bugs early. It's about finding the right balance and knowing when and where to apply AI. 4. Toxicity in the workplace is a severe issue, and it's important to address it but if things get really bad, the best thing you can do is leave. I am sorry you are experiencing something similar :/
Getting a realistic view is incredibly valuable in these times of social media. I truly admire your openness; you bring to light what so many people feel yet choose to hide.
@@Geertevens Thank you so much for your kind comment. Yes, I believe we should talk about both sides more openly
You makes my software to hardware 💀

Use a standing desk. AI will also reduce you sitting time at the front of a monitor. So always look for a way to reduce an impact on your health.
