You’ve chosen some beautiful Doen pieces, Maddie. I really love the halter dress, slip skirt, red cardigan and the black lace skirt. These items are wonderful and versatile additions to your wardrobe. My only doubts are about the sheer blouse and green dress. They are lovely pieces only I am not sure if they are limited in their versatility.

My sezane sweaters have pilled too, I'm definitely only going for the 100% natural fibers next time I purchase from them. And yes, its shocking how the composition of a lot of their knitwear now includes polyamide. Makes me wonder if they are cutting cost and stll charging the same prices they charged before that change?

Idk if it's more common in the smaller sizes but the only time I've had an issue with the quality of a Sezane piece was with my Clyde trench, which i sized down to a 38 because I don't layer with chunky knits. There were multiple threads sticking out from the lining and even had to get it fixed by a seamstress. Luckily I got reimbursed by Sezane's customer service for the alteration fee even TWO months after the return window. My other pieces, which are all XXL/44, have had no issues. As for the Paula Babies, try to wear socks/tights with them or put antiperspirant on your feet at night to preserve the insole

I don't disagree with the quality being worse now, however, I challenge you to find better quality clothes for much less nowadays. Even higher end brands are producing inferior clothes made of synthetics. Ultimately, Sezane is still the most affordable with decent quality. Literally, everything costs a minimum of $100 nowadays, unless you go to Old Navy.

I think you were right to return the ecru sweater as it really doesn’t meet the quality that we expect from Sézane. I actually discovered Sézane through your earlier videos and I became an avid fan. That being said, I have been disappointed and returned quite a few items. Their prices do not always reflect the quality of the items. Love the sweater you kept and the red Paula Babies ❤

The Sézane shoes are very nice 🤩 I ended up returning my black pair with regret. This colour is great for pairing with lots of outfits.

Very helpful review! For the sapphires, maybe look into having your earrings steam cleaned. My engagement ring is sapphire and I periodically take it back to the store it came from to get it steamed, and I'm always blown away by how sparkly it is afterwards. I'm not sure what a service like that would cost (it's free for my engagement ring), but might be worth a try!

I discovered Mejuri when I watched your earlier video and I purchased a few items online. I’m currently in Toronto (my home town) and there is a store in Toronto downtown. I might make a visit to the store to see their items in person. My experience with the pieces I bought (they are all 14 carat gold) is that they have worn well and show minimal wear. And I totally agree that investing where possible in solid gold is better in the long term.

Also a Minnesotan who has spent a good amount of my adult life living on the east coast 👋 yeah I can still wear my Curated coats (I have the same older style classic one and the London) on very cold days in the Twin Cities, I used to work in downtown Minneapolis and would walk to the office. I keep good thick wool sweaters, when they are layered with these coats in winter and with thermals I am completely fine, it isn’t like I’d be snowmobiling or anything so that’s all I would ever need. Getting through these winters here, this company has for sure won me over with their quality 👌

The colours on the dress look beautiful with your eyes. It doesn’t look too warm (yellow) when you’re not so close up. The shape of the dress is difficult, but if that print and colour comes in other styles that would be so perfect on you.

I discovered Sezane last year and have fell in love with a lot of their knitwear. I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to buy new things every 1-2 seasons, so I want to buy better quality clothes that I can wear long term. Prices of Sezane clothes aren't cheap, so I make sure I buy pieces that are unique and know that I'll get a lot of wear out of it. I agree, that I can't keep up with all the collections and I shouldn't have to. I'm trying to downsize my wardrobe and break the habit of buying new things every season, then find out I have similar items or colors that I already own. I notice that they come out with new colors of the same items in different seasons and it's tempting to buy them, but I'm slowing down a lot when it comes to shopping for clothes this year. I discovered that I already have a couple beige color knitwear and I don't need multiple vintage blue sweaters. It starts to overwhelm me when I forget what pieces I own and reach for. That white dress is so pretty! That would definitely be a statement piece I would keep and wear over and over too! Thanks for sharing!

I love this brand! their classic coat in charcoal has been on my whist list for ages, now that they have redesigned it I might take the plunge and finally get it
