    3:10 In this case T-rex is queen. Because she's the same female rex from original jurassic park. Confirmed by some scars on her neck and her back from fighting with raptors in the first movie. And now she got some wounds from fighting with indominus. And now Rexy is already in old ages.

    Saying 月綺麗だね (the moon is beautiful) in japanese is just another way to say “I love you” but not in the context of this movie 😂 Edit: Forgot to mention that the words “Moon” (月) and “like” (好き) are pretty much pronounced the same so it can be mistaken very easily (Tsuki for moon and suki for like or love, not literally the word love)

    Well, godzilla in this movie lost its head, but then regenerated. It means in other movies, that is godzilla with new head, fresh memory. Thats how the godzilla in other movies is such a good guy. Just like little wild goku got better manner after hitting his head.

    The original Godzilla also never made an excuse as to why he attacked. Kamikaze pilots were ordered to drive their plans into the ships and blow themselves up ( suicide bomber). Because he didn’t die he suffered from the guilt ,survivor guilt, ptsd all reasons he couldn’t move on to a normal life including accepting the girls as family.

    This is the Gold Standard of Godzilla films. It harkens back to the 1954 original in its depiction of the human story. Godzilla is back to being a force of nature.

    Yes. That is what an atomic bomb looks like. The original Godzilla was a metaphor for the the.atomic bomb. They couldn't make a movie about the atomic bomb so they disguised it as a monster.

    The first watch when I realized 17 year old Mitsuha was going to find him on the train in Tokyo i was like...oh, this is gonna sting! Mikoto Shinkai brings all the feels. All of them. The reason they forget is that they both crossed the water the second time. Taki physically to plead with Musubi and drink the sake, then Mitsuha when the last swap happens. That's why katawari-doki lets them see each other. They're still crossed over. Forgetting each other when they detach from the underworld is Musubi collecting his toll of what's most important to them--their knowledge of each other.

    Why is it attacking? It’s Godzilla! Beasts don’t need a reason to do what they do, we need to stop to anthropomorphizing beasts. That’s why American Godzilla sucks, he is made to be a “Hero”

    Good reaction! Minus One is not connected to anything and is more of a remake of the original 1954 film which have similar themes and why Godzilla was a antagonist. The unique thing about him is he’s been around for 70 years with almost 40 films and each version of the character is portrayed differently. Some universes, he’s a good guy and other timelines like Minus One, he’s a tragic villain because he’s in constant pain/anger which is why he attacks cities and this movie he clearly never asked to be mutated.

    "Bridge space and time" Like a wormhole or something? Yes. Space Guild navigators (those were the guys in the gold helmets telling Duke Atreides he now had control of planet Arrakis) are able to create wormholes and travel across the galaxy instantaneously. It is the Spice that gives them this power. ALL Guild navigators are male. The Bene Gesserit is an organization of all woman. Paul's Mother and the Reverend Mother are both members of The Bene Gesserit. Bene Gesserit train their bodies to ultimate of human potential and they have been secretly conducting a breeding program to create the Kwisatz Haderach, the universes "supreme being". The Kwisatz Haderach will be able to unite the abilities of the Space Guild with that of the Bene Gesserit. That is a very simplified explanation, its WAY more complicated than that. The ornithopter aircraft are designed off of dragonflies not mosquitos. Yes, the book is WAY more detailed. I read it 5 times and discover something new every time I read it. Baron Harkonnen is not tall, he had little repulsors installed in his body to lift him up because he is SO fat. Paul was having wakeing visions because that was the first time he had been exposed to raw Spice. As a result, he had multiple visions. He and Chani embracing, Chani killing him etc. All of those visions were possible futures. In the book, Paul describes his visions as looking out over the dessert. You can see the tops of the dunes, but you do not know what path you need to take until you get closer to the dune. The imperial Sardaukar warriors are the elite of the elite fighters of the known universe. They come from a planet that is so harsh and dangerous that 6 out of 13 do not live to 11, let alone to adulthood. Because of this, they are the most ruthless and toughest fighters known...until they met the Fremen. The betrayal of Dr. Yueh goes deeper than you know. Yueh is a Suk doctor. Suk training creates the pre-eminent physicians of the Known Universe. They also undergo extensive mental training to the point that they are incapable of taking another life, making them safe to even treat The Emperor of the known universe. So, Dr. Yueh's betrayal of House Atreides was unthinkable, until it happened. It was Baron Harkonnen who was able to brake Dr. Yueh's conditioning by putting Yueh's wife in a pain amplifying device and slowly taking her apart, piece by piece and putting her back together repeatedly, with no anesthesia. Seeing that and hearing her screams broke the conditioning. The Fremen don't "control" the worms any more than we "control" horses. They just figured out how to ride them. I have an old school Sci-Fi classic for you to watch some time. Look for, The Forbidden Planet, Lot's of retro Sci-Fi aesthetic and a very good story that still holds up today.

    There are rules directors have to follow when making a Godzilla movie. One of the most important is to not show Godzilla eating people. The deep-sea fish were suffering from extreme decompression, their stomachs were sucked out by their mouths. When his sobs turn into a scream of pure rage and hate at Godzilla, chills every time. The director said that Godzilla is in constant pain from the atomic bomb and is angry with humanity because of it. I really think you would like, Pacific Rim, if you haven't seen it already. Giant robots (Jaegers) fighting Kaiju and much city destruction ensues.

    •Godzilla attacks the vulnerable city as Tokyo begins to rebuild from the war's devastation. Originating from Odo Island, the monster was exposed to the Bikini Atoll nuclear tests, causing him to grow significantly and gain the ability to unleash an atomic heat ray from his mouth, similar to an atomic blast. •Godzilla represented the fears that many Japanese held about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the possibility of recurrence. As the series progressed, so did Godzilla, changing into a less destructive and more heroic character. •This incarnation of Godzilla harbored strong grudge toward humanity for nuclear tests which irradiated him in the first place not unlike the original iteration of the character, though his case is much worse as he was already hostile towards humans prior to his mutation. •In the 1954 film, Godzilla is portrayed as a tragic monster who lashed out at humanity by destroying any boats that he encountered and later rampaging across and destroying Tokyo in retaliation for the destruction of his home and death of his family by an American H-bomb test. •Godzilla is buoyant. It isn't actually "standing" on anything, but instead it has a natural ability to go vertical due to its aquatic nature using a swim bladder and treading water to stay vertical in the deep sea.

    • @luamovieworld
      @luamovieworld Місяць тому

    Even with animated movies, ppl should watch the subtitled version. Because the original voice actors work with the movie makers, only they can produce the performances true to the intent of the creators. There are very rare cases, in which an animated movie becomes so popular, that extra effort and money are used to make the dubs good. But in most cases, you just lose too much in the dubbing.
