Thanks for the memories. I left Edmonton in 1982, and have since heard that it went into decline. However, looking at your very interesting tour, I as pleasantly surprised to see that the market area is now much cleaner. Even the Holland and Barrett’s, where I had a part time job, has relocated to a bigger premises, opposite the ASDA store; which used to be the swimming pool, where my primary school would bring my class on Friday mornings, in the early 1960s.

Used to be good there now look at it?

I used to come to Wood Green 40 years ago and stay at my grandma's place every summer (I live in Greece) .I recognised 2 stores that are still at the same place , Argos and McDonalds .Also there use to be a WHSmith store where I was buying cassettes , is it still there ?

Grew up in the area but my aunt lived on BWF in the 80s & 90s. Great memories and a great sense of community which isn’t as strong these days between neighbours.

Jeez the green has changed alot since I knocked about there . The railway was alright. Is the old circus 🎪 still there ? Asda??? Is that where the swimming pool used to be ? It's very quite in the video doesn't look very busy .. changed alot since I lived around there

I haven't lived in Enfield since '89. I don't remember much about the town centre except the 121 bus dropped us off outside McDonalds + Pearsons. Imagine my delight to see the 121 still drops you off outside McDonalds and that Pearsons is still there!
