Just received my first cordless machine the spektra flux and wanted to share the opening of it for the benefit of those considering buying it
Did your room have a kitchen
No it didn’t have a kitchen in the room, just tea making facilities
Was the spirits bottle on the wall topped up as standard.
No spirit bottle in room or less you pay

Beautiful ! Are there any shops nearby the road and is it allowed to have air beds in the pools ? Thank you!
We had air beds and inflatable toys in the pool next to our rooms, didn’t see anywhere saying you couldn’t. You can walk out the back of the hotel straight across the road to the beach then there is a few bars along there, not sure about shops but I believe there are some near by

On average run around 8v for shading and lining 😁

On this machine you can actually do everything at 8 volts, colour packing depends what needle grouping I’m using, if it’s a small grouping in a concentrated area I will go down to 7v, if it’s say a 23 mag over a bigger area I will go up to 9v, but that’s also dependant on the area of the body, thanks buddy

Hi there. I have also researched this a lot, I was going to order from Killer Ink but not a lot of info about a footswitch for it apart from FK Irons saying wireless footswitch coming soon. As you have said in your video it does not need a footswitch. I am wondering if you have had it running yet. If so does it have to be constantly running once it is switched on? Say on a 4 hour tattoo constant motor running even when not touching the skin. I think that will take some getting used to reaching for each dip of ink with it running etc. Thanks for any info on this.
Hey Carl, it was one of the advantages for me not having a foot switch however even when I used one I would do the one touch keeps it running function, I have done some work on myself with this machine and when you want to put it down you can just press the red power button, at the end of the day you hold down the power button until the red light flashes and that prevents it from being able to be turned out, it feels like a brilliant hit machine, I will do another tattoo of it in use if we re ever allowed to work again!
@@tattooartist5870 Thankyou for your reply. I think I will order one now. I want to go wireless and this sounded like the best machine. I dare say I will get used to no pedal with a bit of use. I also work quite quick so sounds good from your description. Think my wife will be getting a few tattoos from me with it until I re open again. Seems a lot of artists like this machine. I just hope it can do at least a year without needing major maintenance but only time will tell. Thanks again for your info. Stay healthy friend.
P.S Is it a quiet machine?
It’s very very quiet yes, much quieter than the Cheyenne pen which is my usual, it doesn’t hit quite as hard but that helps with layering and taking your time, if I can think up something to gap fill on my knee I will do a video of it so you can see, nice piece of kit though!
