With 12th doctor everything and everyone is faulty

Whether you're a 13th Century General or the CEO of the biggest corporation in the 24th Century, if a man/woman approaches you and announces themselves as "The Doctor", immediately grab something white and start waving it like mad and maybe, just maybe, they'll go easy on you...

Not a bad story, although I'd recommend getting someone with an actual Scottish accent to play 12th, as, sometimes Guillaume Babey sounds like an Ethiopian second car salesman...

The woke nonsense has ruined these !

well done, very enjoyable... good use of sci-fi to address seasonal emotional/mental health issues in a bit more imaginative yet practical way. -hope this has served many to connect & escape a little from any downtime in the holiday season..

This was another wonderful episode, I love stories in which the Doctor is placed within a domestic milieu where the SF trappings are quite low key and minimal, and this is one of the best of that category - especially the slightly sideways approach of centring the story on Ella’s brother Jacob and his relationship with Nina rather than (only) on Ella herself - it allows the story to have a bunch of different but equally moving relationship combinations of different kinds, romantic, sibling, friendship, etc. Great performances, great music (new theme!) and some very funny jokes (especially the cats bit) and loads of energy in the relationship montage too.

Producer's notes: Huge thank you to our wonderful cast and crew as always - Ruth Long was a delight to work with as a co-writer, and contributed so many wonderful ideas to the planning process, as well as some excellent and funny lines of dialogue. David Nagel and Seth Hershman did excellent work bringing the story to life in the edit, the composers wrote a beautiful score that captures the comedy and soft romance of the script perfectly, and the cast (ably directed by Kevin Burnard, who gave superb notes), were pitch-perfect in their performances!

Possibly our strongest episode yet, performance, editing, music and writing wise. I could truly feel the heart and kindness, I was moved.

One more thing - I’ve especially liked the sense of continuity across the last 3 stories in particular, in terms of the Doctor/Ella relationship. It feels very S8ish in the best way. And I’m very invested in where this will go next

This is another really strong instalment - full of great ideas, great dialogue, great performances and a great score. I love this series so much, it feels like a wonderful parallel world glimpse, a rich extension of the 12th Doctor era we know and love (this shares some DNA with Smile but is very much not a carbon copy). Favourite things: the honey bomb is hilarious, the romance is really sweet, and the line about “not just saving the world, but saving the people in it” is a killer one and addresses a really interesting wrinkle/nuance in discussions around environmentalism that sometimes gets lost.

"I see people down there. Hoards of them--no, not hoards. They're phasing through each other. Multiple iterations of a person, existing on slightly different layers of time, which has been folded like a ribbon. A person could use up their life in those folds. Days on the outside, months on the inside. Children watching their parents go grey in a matter of weeks. Or lovers slowly realizing that one will outlive the other by decades."

This scene was a pleasure to score. Great writing, and acting from the two leads.

Producer's notes. Yeah, this one's a stunner. Really, really proud of how it came together. Caitlin's ideas for this script are A+, and Isabel's script, which is filled with gorgeous dialogue ("Prosperity. What is it? It's a word, a lovely word, sweet and rich and pleasant to taste. It feels like it should mean a roof over the head and a good meal on the table and the promise of the same tomorrow." and really deft character work (Kedy constantly referencing Mia without even realising she's doing it to highlight her crush is so nicely done!) come together so wonderfully. It's just. gaaaaah. I could geek out over it all day. It was a delight to do the SFX for this one, the script gave me so much room to be creative and play with the sound design. And the score! Eamon, Terry, K, and Pringle all produce a perfect sci-fi score that draws on the utoipian sci-fi vibes wonderfully, and draws out some delicate emotional nuance with the character work perfectly. And the cast are all on top form - Guillaume and Laura play the Doctor and Ella's growing conflict (just as their characters are working perfectly in sync! Their plans to stop the bad guy dovetail so well!) with real nuance and emotional intelligence. Bex and Ruth are delightful as Mia and Kedy, playing a wonderfully sweet sapphic romance beautifully. and Jack David is terrific as Rister - they bring out the character's petty cruelty and selfishness pitch-perfectly. Marcus Massey is wonderfully impassive as the various sci fi computers that inhabit Beede IV, Jorel Paul is delightfully funny as the comedy security figuring out the Doctor tricked the bad guys with a literal honey trap, and Stuart Flitton plays the rising panic of the factory worker realising he's doomed in the pre credits perfectly. I had fun in my little cameo as Karmot, too. I love making this series.

Very strong episode! A tight narrative that manages to feel big thanks to relevant commentary and the tension between our main characters. Loved it through and through!

Perhaps the best episode yet. I love it when DW storylines tackle current relevent issues in interesting new ways 😊

I'm a kinda new fan of your audiobooks. But I've gotta say that I really enjoy them. The voices are so good and I love the soundtracks/background sounds also so much. The writing is so brilliant as well. Really few intresting storys! Thank you so much for your work. :)

Singing the Dancing Queen as the Doctor was as much fun as it was exhausting because I tried to keep the energy strong. XD This script really gave the opportunity to every actor to stretch their muscles.

"Will your guilt save me, Ella Fitzallen?"

I liked the bit about Meglos.

Have I ever mentioned that Audrey Armstrong is brilliant at writing things that seem effortlessly clever? Because she really is. Eamon does a fabulous job with the score, and Guillaume is terrific: funny and frightening as always.
