Just when I think I know the differences between the Mondeo and Fusion...I just realized the entire rear window and trunk lid lifts up.
All this just to change a reverse bulb is madness 🤦♂️ thought it was a 2 second job like it was on my old passat. May get a garage to do it for me as i will undoubtedly break a clip when trying
it helped me a lot , all 4 glowplugs where broke, did it in 3 houres to change all 4 .the light on the dash is now out .

I have got to give it to you. This is probably the only accurate video of the TDCi, MK3 Ford Focus engine out there. I see that you wrote Ford Focus II, but overall it doesn´t seem to differ much from my MK III.

Pozor!!!U mk4 kombi je to trochu jiné.Pro sundání lišty se znakem Ford je potřeba vyšroubovat dva šrouby u osvětlení registrační značky.Poté sundat tapec dveří a odšroubovat další dva šrouby.Každý na konci lišty.Je lepší sundat i rámeček registrační značky pro lepší manipulaci.Zbytek je stejný jako na videu.

Mondeo station mk4.5 is a bit different. Remove screws from opening latch. Remove plastic cover from inside. Remove 2 M6 nuts left en right from the inside. Unhook the panel in the center from the inside. Then remove the panel with the Ford logo from outside. From there procedure is self explanitory. The disconnect electritycable from the lamp use a screwdriver to depress the protection.
Yep, I tried to pull off the tailgate release panel above the number plate as per the video, thinking I just had to pop a few clips, well something popped and it wasn't the clips, I broke both mounting brackets, nightmare repair gluing that back together.
@@spookbok When using glue, using baking powder where you cant see it or use some fiber with epoxy. Isuggest google or youtube baking powder with superglue.
The biggest problem was the very thin section of the brackets. Once the glue was on I couldn't locate the correct position by feel. Usually broken surfaces will lock into place but that was not the case here. Interesting tip about the baking soda. I used 2 pack epoxy which has worked very well.
1:22 is BS, you try and hut it back with a hammer and you WILL warp the Plug, its not solid but a thing weak tube of metal. will bend and warp with Ease.

Can't you just replace the button side of the old shell witg the buttons from the new shell?
I've tried but the old and new shells never match perfectly.
On my MK4 accessing the lights from inside boot lid I was not able to remove the clear reverse light bulb at all but the other smaller T10 501 bulb can be removed without full tear down. There doesn't seem to be enough clearance to remove reverse light bulb. Is there any way of removing that reverse bulb without having to remove the whole cluster like in the video? Then install smaller brighter led bulbs which will allow you to remove the bulb without having to tear the whole back apart. Especially those blue clips from the start they broke on mine.
I needed to remove whole light as my led was broken, but if you need to remove only clear reverse bulb and there is not space through small back plastic cover, you probably need to remove whole plastic cover inside of trunk, it should be enough space to replace that bulb
@@michalorlicek6057 ohhh cheers didn't think of that way instead of the outside tear down. It is quite annoying that they designed consumable parts of the car to be very difficult to access. Might give it a go but first going to look for some small leds of the same style that may help in future light removal.
@@michalorlicek6057 Ive found on a forum someone mentioned they removed two nuts holding the light housing from incide and just pushed it slightly. This way the ear didn't break and they were able to remove the reverse light. However they could not put the light back in so removed the whole back as you did 😃 I'm thinking if I find a smaller p21w led bulb it might be possible to remove after initial strugggle the led bulb easier in the future.

how many glow plugs have ford focus 2 1.6 tdci? I was seen just 3 glow plugs!
So far so good but the new fob has a rivet rather than pin - how do i remove this & will my old pin fit where rivet was ?
What about if the electronics are suspect in the old key?

Świetny film, dzięki! Problem mam ze złożeniem elementu do którego przyczepiona jest tablica rejestracyjna. Pomiędzy plastikiem a metalowa częścią klapy zostaje dość duża szpara. W jaki sposób mogę dopasować ten element?

Thanks and I’ve just done one for a family member. The top left nut doesn’t need removing it has large plastic spring clip, so remove the bottom nut, insert your hand top left and down the side and you’ll feel a prong. Push it in and it unclips. Thanks great vid.

Use something sharp to peel it out. Then use glue to stick it back again.

how did you remove the first part? any screws from the inside? i try to remove mine and it wont move att all. removed 2 screws near the doorhandle.
Hi, if you mean first part where is Ford logo there are only 4 clips and not any screws (you may see it when I remove cover, those blue clips inside), you need to pull it, on each side there is small ear where is this plastic cover gripped, you need to unhook it.

Great video, the only hard part is knocking out the pin that holds the key, both the old and new key need some serious persuasion to come out...... oh and don't drop the pin on the floor, it took me nearly half an hour to find it :-)
I'm just doing this now and I've spent hours looking for anything that is the right size to knock the little bugger out!

Ahoj, moje neboli zapecene, cize som ich bez problemov odskrutkoval, ale ano netreba hned zabrat velkou silou, aby sa zhavic nezlomil. Inac ak to nejde, tak ako hovoris skus nato streknut WD40 a nechat posobit, mali by ist urcite potom lahsie. Ja som ich menil v lete cize vonkajsia teplota bola cca 25C, motor som nejako nezohrieval. Ak ho zohrejes na prevadzkovu teplotu, budes mat vsetko horuce, tazsie sa ti bude pracovat. my ones weren't, but I heard that sometimes they are stuck inside and also even happens that glow plug can be snapped on half during removal, heat or rust/carbon removal liquid could help

Hats off to the designers for making it so easy to change a bulb :/
To change a blulb only thing you need is to take off the plastic cover in rear hatch. Than access to all side-bulbs is easy and simple.
