Bought the 114 version in 21. Immediately put a RW fairing, a two up seat, and a sissy bar so I could put my bag on it. I also installed my own external breather system with 1/4 hose, a drill, and a brass tee. I soon got Viking patriot saddle bags, and the Trashin bag holder thingy they sell. Highly recommend btw!

I'm the same height, same bike, stock ergs... like you I can go all day even though I'm forward with only my neck getting stiff after a few hours.. thing is, the more you ride longer distances the easier it gets.. you have to "get in shape" kinda. I was considering getting a new top triple tree that is spaced forward- my machinist or OG or Kraus.

I'm considering this bike or the Breakout. Your bike looks great with what you have done so far. I'm watching videos until I have time to ride an hour to a Harley dealership so I can size one out. I'm 5'4" and I like forward controls. I have ridden friends Sportsters but, I want to try a big Harley.

With empty roads like that, I'd do that as well. Sadly the roads here are filled to the brim with bikes and just as dangerous

I was the same in my early 20's I had my 08 wr250r and rode everyday. All year round in nyc. But one day i high side off my bike when it was 23°. I dislocated a bone in my shoulder and took me a while to recover.i ended up riding for maybe 3more yrs after that accident. Now idrive a f150. Later on in life ill probably get a naked harley or street legal atv. Banshee or quadzilla

Regular maintenance yes, you should be able to do that, to a certain extent, but unless you are really into learning how to customize your bike… what are you going to do on this kind of bikes? New set of bars? Stage 2 the thing and… what else? You can install the saddlebags yourself, passenger foot pegs as well… engine guard… everything else, no problem really, if you understand that it is a one off spent, don’t mind too much if you have to pay someone else who knows how to do it.

Just bought a 22 with low miles. Been riding for 40 years and multiple bikes. I currently own a Ultra Limited and a Dyna and this bike is the best motorcycle I have ever owned!! At almost 60 years old it brought me back and more!!

Man, AWSOME video. I dig it. I bought my LRS in 20, and it came a long way since the day I picked up brand new, and i have mod the F&&k out of my LRS when time n funds are allowed over the years. The customization for LRS insane from 22 to now. Back in 20, when HD murdered dyna, there were not many aftermarket companies that made parts for this bike, but now, it is endless now. Money pit is a perfect word for LRS. I just wish the HD produced LRST back in 20 bc, I had to purchase a saddle bag n bigger fairing on my 20 LRS. Wish you the best n be safe!

I absolutely love throttle locks on street bikes. But a sticky throttle is a throttle lock that donts stop working, scary. Had it happen on dirtbikes, id take the throttle assembly off, clean it grease/oil the stuff that needs it. 9/10 times its just a dirty tube or cable.

Never rode before, found one of these used 2014 at my local dealership for a good price. Might get it my father wants me to get a Harley because he has one too. I’m not interested in driving like a nut, just off cruising and commute to work, you think that’s alright? Love bikes, my first pick was an Indian bobber but a lot of money and not much used laying around.

Your aftermarket grip is pushing too hard on the throttle.

If those are slip-on ones try backing them off a lil bit. The rubber is catching.
