Kitty was enjoying the sun! and lol, I keep forgetting to update the site, I think partly cos I just put 30 in and didn't really plan how I was going to measure it other than if i feel like I got something done each day I'd mark one off 😂 oooh I really hadn't thought about it that much but just started hand writing out my own lyric sheets to use for gigs so I don't forget the words to my own songs (it happens more than you'd think possible lol) but it's also a nice sense of accomplishment to have a stack of finished songs neatly written out, it gives a physical marker of how much i've written, and it's become an unconscious habit as a marker of when a song is properly finished, it gets written out. part of it started cos I don't have a printer, but also, I think it helps me memorise them by writing them out so I keep doing it! There's something really nice about handwriting stuff out, plus it gives us an excuse to buy more notebooks and pens hehehehe

aahhhh thanks Becca!!!! so excited we're twinning again!! hahah yep! This is what happens after the streams are done lol 😂🤣 We come up with stuff like this and sometimes we actually do it! also not gonna lie, the nano improvised song got stuck in my head most of the next day and i'm now considering polishing it up and doing a short little version of it just for the lols!

I'm imagining this being typed as you sit back with popcorn to watch the descent into chaos unfold 😂🤣

Omg same!! I realised at the end of editing that it was only a couple seconds off the perfect 22.22 length and it was too good an opportunity to miss!! 😄 And yaaasss that's a fantastic goal! And one I definitely want to work on too! I'm sure you'll smash it!! And ooh glad to hear, so far I've only filmed a few snippets but will definitely be doing some proper filming soon for the adhd one!

Yes I peices it together like a puzzle, pretty much try and come up with the key plot points so I know the arch I'm writing, and this time aiming to have a better idea of the characters as well, then write the bits I know and figure out how to join them up 😀

Absolutely! The advantage of not focusing on the word count this year, is I can spend the first few days doing the research and rough plotting I need to figure out before fully diving into the book, which hopefully will mean a much smoother drafting process 😂🤞 And with work and everything to keep on top of, I wanna make it as easy as possible to stay on track and not burn out 😆 Any yes!!! I'm so excited to be able to see some more people in person again now!! 🎉 💃

OMG YESSSS!!! now what do we call ourselves, a band of rebels doing Vlognarok 🤔 the Vlognarokers? no that's a bit long, Narokers? sounds a bit weird, i came up with the Rebel Rokers (pronounced rockers hehe) but then Renee just swooped in with the vlognarok valkyries! I think that takes the cake! also damn youtube notifications can be a pain! the amount of stuff i've been late seeing is annoying, but hopefully it gets better soon! daily vlogs for the win!!! (editing day one right now lol) Alligator Loki is soo cute!! once the post opens up and he get here I will dedicate a special vlog to hi! (also crap I still have to get all the little bits together and get yours in the post! time is flying but hopefully I can get it on its way this week and it might make it there before the end of vlognarok!!!) Ah yes, a broken thong, the classic aussie summer feature! I have slipped out of the scheduling since doing this but got in the habit of setting a lot more one off timers and alarms when I need to remember to do stuff or when I want to do stuff which definitely helps, I tend to lose track of time really easily so having external markers of how much time has actually passed really works for me, definitely recommend giving it a go and seeing if it works, you can always turn them off if they get annoying 😆

Nano is so much fun!!! It honestly gives me so much more motivation to get my drafts out, and considering I'm a part time novelist amoung many other things, it works really well for me to set aside a month to get the writing done!!! So fuck yeah nano for the win! If it works for you it works and that's awesome!

I'm one for saying look at it carefully before doing, but if you want to do Nano then it's a fun community to be in ... No need to be anti it! Good luck with your writing and may the words be with you.
