It is nice to see all the great Canadian skaters. Here in US unfortunately everything is about the US skaters - which I guess makes sense but in international competitions I really want to see and learn about skaters from other countries, especially our friendly neighbors to the north. (I can be Canadian in spirit if I want, besides it's way too hot down here!) I especially loved Nicole's performance here, and if I went back in time I would say "tighten up the choreographic moves and make each gesture look more intentional" and she'd be placing at the level at least of Cohen, Hughes, and Suguri around that time. She looked very natural and flexible.

It is fun listening to Brian Order as a commentator. He is gracious in his remarks, and really understands where these skaters are coming from.

Those judges were stupid to deny Tonya the top prize.

During her days as an amateur competitor, Nicole had a history of inconsistency. Tonya Harding had been criticized for inconsistency too, but I NEVER saw her skate anywhere nearly as badly as Nicole!

Ya know, I know Kristi was lovely and wonderfully talented and all, but I feel like Rudy deserves more credit because he was jumping _his_ way, but he was having to do lifts, throw jumps, pair spins, and death spirals all in _her_ (the opposite direction.) I can't imagine being responsible for my partner being 8-10 ft in the air, but doing it "left handed" so to speak.
