This song has lived in my soul for so many reasons since I first heard it when I was 15/16. Now almost 30 years later... it is STILL perfection in its clarity, build up and power. It has ALWAYS either been the intro or outtro song of my mix CDs /playlists for all this time. Please remaster this CD!!

Being a Norwegian Swede of Bahusian descent, I'm not that sure of the part about there being "something special about norwegians, that separates them from swedes or danes". Being a little bit of both, I'd say that we're quite alike. I love this song - both to sing at church and to listen to. Here we really can see the poetic splendour of the Norwegian Nynorsk language.
