I love Baez. I know he hasn't played to the best of his ability consistently for us. He makes some AMAZING plays at shortstop. His nerves just seem to get the best of him sometimes. He has the tools to be an allstar. He just needs to use them.

Loved the video! The only thing I'd kinda disagree with was Jacob Young. Young is a speed demon on the base paths and in the OF. He reminds me of Trea Turner speed wise stealing bases every chance he gets. He might need to tighten things up a bit defensively, but that will come with time. I love the idea of Pete Alonso being the DH. That alone would make the Nationals vs Mets game a contender for national tv with that Soto vs Alonso switching teams going to division rivals. Nats also got the number 1 overall pick in the 2025 draft. Let's hope we can stay healthy and develop everyone. I forsee us being back in the playoffs in 2026. I think the Braves could start falling from grace soon and the Nats could be an on the fringe wild card team.
