Before this mod I had to calibrate my printer every two prints, like so many of you I imagine. Now I calibrate it once every two weeks by moving the z offset only 0.01. I got this printer a week ago, at first it was printing like a dream, but now the bed is loose or something so much that when im doing the auxiliary z offset it would change a decent bit between doing a corner. Ill try your trick and if it wont help ill return this printer and buying an a1 mini

I have my Neptune 4 Pro for 2 month, and it's only a pain in A**. I have done so many things, e-step, gountry leveling, check all screws, flow tower, temp tower, i have done auxiliary and bed leveling countless times and nothing helps, my first layer all the time is too high, but that is not the only problem, i have tried printing even when z-offset is too high and then my noozle is dragging across printed parts. And i can't find solution for it. I will deffinetly check your suggestion, i just need to find No.4 M nut and washer! When i will test it, i will share how it ended, did it change something for me or not! :)
Hello. This is my personal experience and unfortunately I heard that many people have our problem. in my case it worked fine, let us know if it was the same for you. If we want to talk about problems, I had to change all the wiring after only two months, fortunately the customer service is very active but the printer has a lot of technical problems
@@CCPDesign-ct4om For me it didn't change a thing, have the same problem. That mean, i have to keep looking for solution! But i will put "like" on your video!
u do uptade printer ? older version have bug for z offset
@@Rhapsody1903 Yes, screen update and firmware, that was first things i did when leveling didn't work.
currently on 3 weeks of trying to figure this out!
