I know there are alot of better acclaimed performances of this song but i think this is the best full standard performance of this. Most of the other good performances of this are rather shorter (AMA 1993) or in beta version (Count Basie 1991). This one is performed in full version and in official version.. I agree with Bruno, Jack Irons created this drum pattern for Given To Fly, and for some reason Matt Cameron doesn't play it that way. Cameron only uses toms and doesn't incorporate the snare, and Matt plays it too darn fast , in my opinion. Jack irons, much like Dave Abbruzzese have a signature sound that's hard to duplicate... believe me, I try! 🥁
That was such a well done video tribute to our US military troops currently serving and the brave veterans that risked it all for us to enjoy the freedoms and liberty 🗽 we as nation cherish deeply. My dad is a military veteran with the Greek military back in his day during World War 2. He was a platoon bus driver. During the war the Germans did fire on him and his bus along with the troops inside. My dad swerved off the road 🛣️ onto a steep canyon and avoided from getting hit by any bullets alongside with all the troops that were inside the bus. Great job on this video. I subscribed and hit the like button!😁
