Hey Zuni, I’ve been watching your launch box videos and really enjoy them. I’m an online computer animation bachelors program major at Full Sail as well.I’m in my fourth month which is English Comp, which is really a lot of hard work, the pace is so fast that they don’t get to spend much time explaining things, such as the correct way to do APA formatting. I had all 100’s on my last three classes and this digital scrapbook assignment I got a 99.25 which is still a great grade. I was just hoping for a perfect run to continue as I’m very dedicated to my studies. I got marked down for not having perfect APA citations, they are so confusing and there are so many nuanced subtleties involved in them that it was difficult to try to master on my first attempt. The instructor just basically gave me the link to the APA website and said everything you need to learn is in there. We didn’t have any discussion about it in our lectures which is disappointing to me. My instructor has some ridiculously large amount of students that it’s genuinely difficult to gain her attention when I have questions. I’ll do fine I hope. Your video quality is excellent and you have such a pleasant demeanor, you’re young and have a whole life ahead of you, whereas, I’m 61 and trying to master computers that I thought were just a fad in 1980 when I first went to college. I’m looking to earn my degree and try to get into some freelance work when I graduate, I had to drop out of college due to family issues when I was a sophomore and went to work in many different careers before finally retiring. Now I want that degree in my hand to just validate who I am as an artist and make up for what I lost so long ago. Keep up the videos I’d like to hear more about your time at full sail.

Thank you for the video! It’s hard to find other GBE students talking about their experience/Launchbox. I’m currently heading into month 4 with good momentum! I just wish I knew when I can actually anticipate my laptop coming through- after month 4 or after the Intro to the Gaming Industry class. Especially since they stopped sending out iPads on my start date 😭 thanks again!
