Thanks for commenting, As i said below, When you use V they are getting weakened because they **ALL** turning to nearest enemy. This cause trouble for charges and rushes against this unit.

Well we tried it, it was failed because they cant keep the pace. IPG rocks them :(

Yes, for exmp if you hit with bombard, they will not die not even loose any HP if they have fully passive shield is up

@@ConquerorsBladeByBatuin default they do have daze effect when braced so why still need stun doctrine if thats the case? or whats the difference between dazed and stun? Isnt they are the same?

When you press V, it turns for nearest enemy, if Hero jumps in in otherside and make them busy, you will get 1 shotted by enemy cav %99

@@breezeezz No matter what, unit turns to closest enemy.. If hero is near or another unit, they will turn their back if they are on V

Thanks for comment, thats what I am trying to say in these comments.. This unit has 1 purpose and its anti cav with group. But about veterancy, top has mobility but no def bottom has brace unit hit count +1. And 1 more cons, which they are not turning back or rear sadly..

@@JackysDaniels this is half the truth, They turn if you press V , TRUE but there is also but, they are turning so slow to 1 side and its closest one. If a hero jumps in while on V , cav will devastate all because they are turning for hero.

Probably you were the one of testers so you are writing biased 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ If you play with wood cutters as a team, you can do fine. (50+ unit kill) Unit has no mobility, no HP, no defense and you can see that stats via in-game just simply press U. Yet calling it unit is balanced.. No one expects going yolo unit but if the imp pike or palace guard RAPING this unit it is not OK.. No matter what macro or micro play you have, you have no chance because don't forget in siege or ranked there is arties, blob hits and group rushes. If you are saying, 'Hey I wanna have this unit and play as a rat or baiter and yeet my team waiting to get some chance to prove this unit is OK' . Its completely wrong.. But i respect your opinion. And time will show us about that (Ofc only if they wont recieve buff, we will see will ppl use this or murmillo or madao)

Mate, you don't even use any mechanics in your video. I can't see you using their V (which is a brace, has auto-focus, and rotates). You don't use any combo; you're just showing a useless 1v1 scenario... You have a unit count of 40 (!), their range is that of a forte, if not even further. Plus, brace is constantly on. You have a weaker Orochi's stab ult, which still deals 3-5k damage on T4-5 infantry. You have an auto-rotation brace with high shield break and rapid auto-hit DPS. Like, come on. You say I'm "biased," but you're literally one of those who played them for 10-15 games, couldn't perform, and gave up to make a thread on Discord or create this video that showcases literally nothing but an unrealistic 1v1 without any movement scenario. I won't argue; it's your video, and people will and already believe that the unit needs a buff. I'll wait until you guys cry that the unit is too broken if the few who actually use their unit to the fullest, or at least try, still outperform you. (I went from an average of 50-150 Leadership kills to 600+ average, and I’ve played 72 games now. Sorry, but that's a learning curve and nothing more or less.) Edit: Of course this unit will loose in a ONE VS ONE scenario as a stationary, DMG OVER TIME Unit... They have a IMP charge, which is OFC weaker They have a fortebraccio stagger and lance length, which is OFC weaker... Also you mentioned that in a siege there are blobs, group rushes and arties, yes thats where this unit shines the most if you (the user) have awareness of map and the others (team) wont sacrifice you. Like cmon I streamed them now for hours on twitch and showed the opposite of being weak unit. If I constantly going out with almost double the Leadership killscore they themselve costs, its far away from being weak.

@@JackysDaniels As I explained before, I can get +50 unit kill with wood cutter without problem as a group.. So with your logic Wood Cutter is very balanced and perfect unit in this game ? Wake up to reality.. There is queens - madao - imp pike - wuwei - palace guards- iron reapers- maa - murmillo but heyy they are not good units.. This is T5 unit with any situation against these they are loosing (except wuwei) and seasonal unit. But hey its perfectly balanced !! You can not say or compare a unit based on TW or Scrim usage.. These activities are %5 of this game.. For blob fights.. In siege ppl will sacrifice you as a sheep because they are gonna run back and u have low mobility and get stucked on middle of the way. Not everyone has 5 player to do siege.. If you wanna achieve something with this unit, you have 2 option.. Option 1: Play as a group, your group will get high DPS units such as queen-İron reapers and special or shield unit to cover yours. Just after thn you can start doing smth with this unit. Option 2: Play as rat or baiter. Sacrifice your team and weaken the enemy near the end of fight you can rush in and collect the kills ..

​@@ConquerorsBladeByBatu i play queens, modao, imp pike, palace guards, iron reapers. this troop destroys iron reapers by any means! queens can't get away after going in. palace guards are an even fight, imp pikes became unusable. modao is destroying ONLY CAV! troops easily win against them. i have all those troops maxed with good doctrines on them(t3-t5). i am happy my troops are somehow still meta, but i got them just because they looked cool, and thought modao is my only chance against cav. but seeing 10/16 people in a team playing phalanx in ranked is literally broken. they just sit in base while bracing. you can't rush them, you can't cav them, you can't do anything unless you can get ranged troops to shoot them! The most powerful thing against them is literally the hero, go behing phalanx and kill them with your hero. people are stacking ranged troops behind phalanx and winning games this way. i feel powerless with my iron reaper+modao combo. i might destroy some cav and kill some infantry, but i can't get to push those troops under any circumstance! people keep stacking 3-5 phalanx troops on top of each other at each entrance and you can't get in!

nope, this unit is the most balanced unit every release. Devs actually did a good job with these guys, people just need to gid gud.

Они некогда ничего не тестируют, там вообще нет такого отдела вспомни кавалерию прошлого сезона по 12-19к критического урона в лобовой атаки как это пережить там явно идиоты. У них всегда отряды либо бесполезные либо бессмертная машина для убийства.
