My goal is to entertain people with my artwork, music, stories and films. I have a funny cooking show, a serious science show. I've made karaoke and cover tune videos of some of my favorite music, and my own original music as well. I have many categories of videos in my playlists. This is a favorite old recipe, but I goofed it up. I wanted to soften the butter but I melted it. I also added too much sugar. As a result, the cookies came out harder than they should have. They were still delicious, but they were crunchy instead of crumbly. Oh well, better luck next time. Drop some shredded cheese in that before you flip it and you end up with tasty or sometimes I put tuna fish also before I flip it! Also you can do that with regular pancakes and eat it with just butter!

I customized this recipe. I substitute 1/2 c of the flour with corn starch. It gives the cookies a more tender, melt in your mouth texture.😊 It looks like my recipe is double yours. ❤😮
Awesome! But, your snowball cookies were always excellent. I can't imagine them being even more light and delicate. Mine were pretty disastrous. The butter melted when it should have only been soft, and I accidentally doubled the amount of sugar. They were more like ice balls. Haha. HAPPY NEW YEAR Sherri

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. It's definitely satire, although it is instructional. I used a combination of some old high school films along with some of my own illustrations and then narrated it. I've got three other ones. How to change the toilet paper, how to dial a rotary phone, and how to read an analog clock. Hope you enjoy them all. Look in my playlists for TIPS FOR TEENS. By the way, I own that book. It is signed by Dick Goddard who was a famous weatherman local to Cleveland area.

My daughter wanted these but I had no idea what to do with them.
They're good with no flavor added, but you can make them with cinnamon sugar, or with ranch flavored powder, or any way you want to flavor them really. They would be very good with cheese sauce. Just make sure you cook them hot or they will come out tough.

Hey John, first time I watched this, not sure what you call it. Cooking with John is a bit misleading. I subscribed but then notice that your number of subscribers was 666, it's now 667. If you want me to fix that I can unsubscribe. My question for you is, why haven't you been on some of these famous comedy TV shows? You are more funny than anyone out there today. I would dare say you could have been on the David Letterman show, and been a full time character. Anyway, let me know if you want me to put your number of subs back to 666.

why do you need sugar?
It's not enough sugar to make it taste sweet. It's just enough to make it taste right. Milk normally has lactose in it which is a sugar.

Thank you so much. This has only been up for a couple minutes. I hope you're feeling better soon. I had covid, and I slept for about 2 weeks. I got through it without any vaccinations. Just vitamins and supplements. Ironically, our pastor was not in church today because he just contracted covid. I'm glad you enjoyed this. My covid was over a year ago. I pulled through it fine. I'm hoping the pastor will get well quickly. He's such a great guy. He's actually one of my subscribers, and loves my funny cooking show. Haha

You're welcome. I started making it a half gallon at a time because I didn't want to rush through drinking a whole gallon before it went bad. The filtered water really helps the flavor too, and the amount of sugar is critical. There's a thin line between not enough and too much
