    Why do you use such specific decimal values? Is there any mathematical reason for it or is it because you're recreating a graph you already had made?

    This is not a tutorial, but a quick way to create a texture without explaining what's going on. It is not clear who this video is for, except perhaps for the author. For everyone else, it is completely meaningless.

    • @SingularisFox
      @SingularisFox 3 місяці тому

      Fr he calls it a tutorial but for a newbie in 3D designer like me it was like a kaleidoscope spinning on light speed. Didn't understand anything.

      Certainly not a tutorial for absolute beginners, but if you're just starting out and you've gotten past the "how do I navigate 3d art softwares" then it's fine. My only gripe is that Im having to pause and scrub through this frame-by-frame to actually see what's going on because it's a 40 minute video compressed into 15 minutes lol.

    Hi! In today's version I can't seem to find the Dirt, Dust and Metal Edge Wear nodes with the normal, ao or curvature inputs. Its says Mesh Data but I don't really understand what to do. Do you know a way? Thanks! :)

    • @DenizGiritliArt
      @DenizGiritliArt 10 місяців тому

      I've been using latest for a while and I didnt realize such a change. It might be because when you pull the node out of Normal or Curvature, it gives you nodes that only works with those type of inputs and may be thats why it wasnt showing Dirt or Dust. So if you can try just hitting a space bar in plain area and search for Dirt and Dust you might have it. If it still doesnt work, I suggest opening the library window from; Windows-Library and from there if you click on "Mesh Based Generators" you should be able to see the Dirt, Dust and bunch more nodes and you can just click and drag it to your graph. If none of the above works for you, you can send me an email with some screenshots, may be I can help!

    • @Maxhzz
      @Maxhzz 10 місяців тому

       Thanks for answering, I finally found out it was because the Link Creation Mode was set to Compact Material which compacts the inputs to just one input named Mesh Data. The buttons 1,2 and 3 toggle this so it's easy to change it without knowing. So it was my bad😅

      Hello! You can use, cells 2 (invert on, edge wirdh 0) and add a directional warp with amount of 5 with perlin noise around 12 plugged in. If you would like to add noise, you can add slope blur node with clouds 2 (sample 32, intensity probably around 0.5) should do it. I'm also happy to provide you the Crack Generator node if the method above doesnt work. You can send me an e-mail from denizgiritliart@gmail.com

    at 6:56 to get a better edge mask you should divide old blend with new blend so it will show all the change in pixels. dividing histogram range with old blend is sort of unreliable in some cases.

    • @DenizGiritliArt
      @DenizGiritliArt Рік тому

      Hi Matias! I understand your frustration. Those nodes are outputs and basic control nodes that I setup so that I can use in future projects to save time. Its called DeGi - Game Template and you can get it for free and use it for for projects as well. If you think its complicated, you can just use Base Material Node with activated User Defined Maps to plug in what you create and if you right click on the Base Material Node, select Create and Output Nodes (say no for the pop up for unused nodes) you will have almost the same nodes.

    • @DenizGiritliArt
      @DenizGiritliArt Рік тому

      @@matiastemesio893 Oh that's unfortunate. As long as you still have the nodes you should be able to save it. You can try right clicking and selecting show output nodes in 3D view.
