Idiot passengers. No airline will delay on purpose. The more time an airplane stands on an airport, the more they have to pay airport. Delays also need to compensate passengers for hotels, food apart from loss of reputation of the airline. The way some people are shouting , especially the lady, is so cringe-worthy and annoying.
