Casual lock testing out P4 PVP on the PTR server. Million thanks Blinky/Streetz from Lone Wolf (US) for the content and advice on making the video. Plz check out (www.youtube.com/@tkindustries619) Thanks for watching! Recommendations to improve are welcomed. Cheers,
Lmao the fear back into the lava was so cruel
this was fun, and the mage respawn at 2:22
Nice clips bro. I’ve enjoyed the few BG scuffles we’ve had. Have a good one 🫡💪
Thnx mate! Good wars are hitting pretty hard now. :) wp
Sod Hype SOD hype ! lets go brother lock !
the guy kills characters walking by, that’s a skill))) and as soon as they rebuff him, they immediately send him to the cemetery. don't embarrass yourself
Hi, fortunately, I've had plenty 1v2s and dueling good sod players (only strong classes not even including the weaker hard counters) in my other vids. Killing ppl walking by mostly because I wanted to show other locks the pros and cons of classic destro spec as it only works against PVE players. I assume you didn't finish the vid before realizing why the content was there. Thanks for watching.
Good bideo. Thats why i cant play SoD pvp anymore. Bc some hunter or rogue got two buttons to kill you and you have to have a 20 trinkets ready and the opener with right pet
Haha thanks. SL used to be OOOOPPPP. Now is the only pvp spec to survive. Hunter is easy; just dead-zoning them. Against good rogue, I'd say it's easier in duel settings, but in wpvp, you'll need full CDs and a particular set of utilities. Rogue/lock is a prediction game.
Love seeing some pvp videos in this day and age -- nice plays!
What's the queue time for BGs atm, and are all BGs actively played or only AV?
WSG/AB are prob 30 minutes w/ 0 - 2 ongoing games at a given time. Yeah, mostly AVs, which is a giant PVE event these days.
crazy farming people not prepared/interested in pvp. big content lmao
True. I bet it sucks when you sign up on a PVP server but ain't prepared. Thanks for the views tho.
@@qijia3707was gonna say the same lmao.
SoD is full of a bunch of middle aged babies 😢
hi mate! greate video! can u share ur build?

For the head enchant you can test around. 20% health for survival ability or pandemic for dot critic. The backdraft is good but doesn't reset immolate for back to back charm, it makes other head runes as viable in 1v1 wpvp, but i think backdraft will pump in grp settings.
@@qijia3707 thx =) love both build, which one u love more? and comfort to wpvp? 1v1 and more
@@mojoooCo I'd say NF/SL, which is more tankie and room for errors. It's also a good support in grp fight. Destro 1v1 is hard to play against real PVPers. Rogue, feral, Meta, SP, pally, and Shaman can counter you pretty hard, especially when defense/mobility can be non-existent unless poping all engi/utility just for 1 fight. For BGs, everybody sits at 7-8k health, too; 2-3k critic means nothing. You'd need a solid frontline to pump hard. No one can heal you up when 2 melees are on you. :(
Great songs, good vid
Cool to see you sticking with it. We ele shamans love your curse. Here’s hoping destro warlocks get some love soon.
They should have give warlock destruction the mop treatment, havoc for double chaos bolt or double coil, the shield who make you immune silence for 6s and fel flame, maybe the TP from wotlk and the aoe stun I tried warlock destruction a little bit, it's just a reroll, but it feels like you can't cast a spell
Meta is the new definition of Destro these days. Locks just feel different w/o fears. Shadowfury + port would be dope.
Got any tips for dealing with geared ele shamans? They’re the only class I seem to consistently struggle with. Felhunter melts every time, so I decided to try felguard and found some success with it because he’s a lot tankier and the stun allows me to get a window where my pet can kill totems as I cast fear on the shaman, but it’s still rough. Thoughts?
Ele shaman is THE hard counter. I won't say felguard is more tankie since Felhunter can devour to heal, and the spell lock is also good. W/ felguard, Shamans can just pop decoy right away and then spamming tremor/grounding while hard casting your felguard. They have a lot of different playstyles too. It always is the perfect balance of CC/rushing + RNG for tremor totem/heartbeat that don't break the fear. Imo, felguard is definitely easier for dmg pressure, but the cap is also low against top-notched shamans. I have no proven strategy against them, but I'd say if you can get fear out while not DRed much and you still have spell lock and DC not on CD, you are basically 50:50. Tho it's very hard to get to that perfect setup when shaman knows their shit. May need a long-ass rotation and then helm/sleep to reset for that. Other than that, you are doing it right. Let me know once you figured it out :)
@@qijia3707 I see, the shaman I was fighting earlier was full r10 with shadow reflector and the heart of darkness pvp trinket, so I assumed he was good because he beat my ass a few times lol, but if he wasn’t using decoy into felguard then I didn’t get proper practice with the matchup. Decoy would be a hard counter to felguard so I think I’ll just stick to using the felhunter from now on. I’m thinking I’ll setup a dispel macro for flame shock on my felhunter in the future rather than dispelling flame shock from myself, maybe that’ll allow my pet to stay alive a bit longer. Getting my pet to kill the grounding and tremor without dying is the main issue I’m trying to work around, maybe using goblin mortar into nade when my pet is in a vulnerable position will be the key to getting the shaman into a full fear without the pet dying. I’ll have to try it out a few times and I’ll let you know. Would you recommend always using curse of tongues on the shaman or do you think the extra dmg from a demonic grace/amp curse agony is more worth it?
@@Krul2895@patrickdurkan2433 always COT. You can micro-manage it a bit when you fear Shamans out and switch to COA, but it won't make much of a difference, IMO. Mortar is good. Nade can be a hit or miss when you fight orcs. I'd prior grounding and then fear while using pet attack macro on tremor. Try to fear and kill totem simultaneously or kill totem right after fear goes off because tremor has no CD. the bottom line is that you'll never win shamans who know the lock mechanics. killing totems and double fear when needed. Once fear goes out, prior dmg than CC. The key is to keep them focused on healing instead of DPS. I am not very good at felguard, so I am not sure about how good it can be. Hypothetically, pet stay to start => wand grounding => intercept => double fear => pet killing tremor. Rock helm or sleep if Shaman pops the reflector at the beginning. If the fight goes long with too much fear DRs, always monitor your dots timer so you can helm/sleep for a reset. That works well when both of you are low. You can easily secure a kill if you still have fel dom - assuming the pet already died. The most nasty shaman will 1) spam/teleport tremors and make them hard to kill, 2) either kite you with improved earth binding or wolf - make sure pop fap in either case, 3) resto heavy and always keep themselves topped and casually kill your pet. It doesn't take a lot of skill to fight locks if an entry-level shaman can master the above 3.
Great video. Do you have a video going over your UI?
ummm. unfort i don't. The base is Elv, customized with Domnios for the bars and easy frames for unit frames. I have a Vuhdo raid frame mostly for the mouse over team/pet devour. The item rack is organized in a way that follows my key bindings for each slot. Rest of it is weak aura, i.e., dots, cds, shield, and proc tracking.
@@qijia3707 Do you recall the WA name for tracking the Demonic Grace, Drain Life, Haunt, etc CDs?
@@pulsezero I just used someone's template and made it myself. shoot me a message on disc - word3965 and i can share em.

Dont know but warlocks neeed a lot of love.I dont think we are so strong class. That we wining 1v1 duels not make us strong. In bgs pvp events we are very bad. Also in world pvp we are not stronggest. We need at last some pushback focus casting protection. Some kind of heal our pets and decrease the mg that they take. Also we missing good affli talents or runes.Rune invocation need real rework and our talent dark pact too.Im also watching permanent dispeling of UA cos it makes so low dmg so some dmg inc on dispel efect will be nice. Also about gear they change pve gear to giv too low stamina or no spell power wich make us no a lot of choices. Our pvp rank gear stay unchanged wich is stupid.Old set bonuses and stats wich is stupid.Ather clases take new pvp reworked sets.Hope blizz change our bonuses like 0,2 cast on UA also, and focus on cast on feear on gloves. Also bring inc armor on items.I dont know what devs thinking but if they wana warlock to be a tanking pvp class we need fat gear, if not they must give us runes like felportal, shadowfury and inst how of teror.
This is a lot to unpack. I've never played retail, so not sure how things work there. 1) I agree that tier set stats are kinda disappointing, yet unlike vanilla/classic, SL locks have very powerful self-healing. I am okay with additional spell power as a trade-off to stam and using a combo of half-tier and half-PVP sets. 2) for UA/instant howl of terror/portal would make affl/destro more playable, I agree with you that this is the most awkward situation in sod. While all the other classes are big buffed both in offense and defense, destro/afflic get one shot all day. 3) lastly, pets are completely made of paper now, credit to sod damage and hit rings. To be fair, anything they do to address at least 1 of the above 3 would be super helpful. If they can address 2 out of 3, locks will be pretty OP and fun to play, more varieties and skill actually matters. if they address all 3 above, other classes would not be happy :) If I have to choose, def. #2 and #3.
@@qijia3707 Also rune everlating affliction must be buffed like on shadow priest. Our sb,drain ..must refresh not only coruption but every dot we put. Ather things they must aplay on some rune is 0.5 gcd on our dots so we can push out ez our 1000 dots wich doing 10dmg each 😅
Cool video! Is it even possible to do destro builds in sod in pvp??
Thanks! BG meme yes. Dueling is limited. WPVP is kinda hard since we don't have any mobility runes.
why does sod sl lock look so squishy.
Ele shamans are overtuned.
What's your thoughts on the rumors and comments going around the community that Vinager is the GOAT of Living Flame? Good video btw.
Thnx! Oh yea, Vin is getting up there. My thoughts ain't matter cuz I am casual. ;)
Fire content and clips! Nice timing on fears and coils. Keep the videos coming bro!
