You don't have to disassemble the caliper to retract the piston. You can use a 9v battery and two wires to make the piston retract or extend after you've unplugged it..

The only downside is had when I removed the cooler is that in the colder mornings it would take ages to warm up

ther is sometimes a torq limiter map related to the egt senser and with the egt sensor removed the ecu will detect a fault and say the sensor is reading 1000c this will then cross refrence the map and 1000c egt will limit torq for fail safe ressons mayb you havent had any issues but if its down on power a bit it could be related to this most mappers dont touch those maps you may be fine but some one watching this may have an issue and rember they removedt he egt sensor it dosent show a fault on dash either

Have you had to reprogram after canceling the DPF?

Would removing the firewall first (instead of afterwards) aid in accessing the two bolts that required the long extensions?

Question????: I have seen several of these caliper painting videos and no one ever applies primer and or base coat. Why is that????? I would think, at least, some white primer would help cover the dark metal and provide some light reflection, back through the paint. 😁✌🖖

I wish I could do it mate, I just don’t trust myself at all. I’ll buy the downpipe from darkside and have to pay someone to fit it. I’m planning on going stage 2 with it. If you swap the DPF straight over for a downpipe does it need to be mapped then and there? Main reason I ask, the guy who would take the DPF would be fitting a new exhaust, but he isn’t the guy I would get it mapped by? But then once he’s fitted it all, would I even be able to drive to the company who’ll map it? Hope that makes sense haha

Thanks for this video, I found an oil leak from turbo return pipe at the bottom, removing dpf will make it easier to access
