Thanks for the review. Glad to see that you wore the watch as a true daily workhorse. I picked up a variation of this watch about 2 yrs ago on the auction site. Mine has a black/blue bezel, matte black dial, and beige-ish hands & indices. I wear it slightly loose so I don't even notice the weight. As you indicated, the crown 'screw-down' and 'unscrew' action is super-smooth, as well as the manual winding. I'm glad I'm not the only one with a difficult-turning bezel, lol. I guess it's a feature, not a bug, lol. Mine's pretty accurate (+5 secs/day, resting on its side over night). Overall, I'm really happy with this watch. It's handsome, rugged, & sporty!

Yeah they make them thick like a latina😂. I think it's to protect Rolex, can't have little brother producing better watches.

Nice watch I have the GMT Opaline on the old non rivet bracelet. If it was thinner it would wipe the floor with the Rolex GMT and we can't have that. Tudor will eventually make a thinner 41mm but they will likely wait for prices to be up in the 5k range.

Since you do not wear it anymore are you interested selling?

I love the PADI logo, I like the "X", I like all the print on the face, it makes it not boring. I hate Plain faces, that's why I am getting rid of the the Captain Willard watch. Guess that is how we chose a watch that matches our personalities. Even though I dont agree with some of your views, it's a very well-made video. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. I have one Squale but I’m considering this GMT as well. The logo on the crown looks like “LION” but it’s actually “VON” for the founder of the company - Charles von Buren. You can also see this “VON” logo above the Squale text on the dial.

There are a few inconsistencies in this video. The back on a real one is brushed almost identically.

Thanks for the video. Could you not demag the watch yourself? I have demagnetized a few of mine. The demagnetizer costs under $20 off Amazon. I am a cheap watch fan and Seiko being mostly inexpensive, I have a few of them...12. 2 Turtles, 5 different SKX, Sumo, Samurai, Alpinist, Tuna, Recraft, etc. Not quite a "Seiko Fan Boy", but yeah, pretty close...LOL Cheers!!!

Thanks for the video. I am a fan of the Prospex logo. Like it on the dial. Although I did recently buy a NOS SARB017 specifically because there was no Prospex Logo. I have a Prospex PADI turtle very similar to this. Mine is the SRPA21. What model is yours? (why did Seiko make both?) I wear mine on the Strapcode Angus Jubilee and the MM300 ratcheting clasp. Funny that you didn't say a thing about Swiss culture or people, yet went straight for it with Japan, yet call it a tie 😂 I'm guessing you have little real world experience of either culture, especially the watch makers lifestyles. With respect if you have the money to buy a Rolex watch you not going to buy it from a street vendor you going to buy it from a shop or Rolex dealer that is registered as a Rolex dealer you wouldn’t have to worry about if it’s a fake or super clone fake these videos are interesting but pointless to a Rolex watch buyer not to be rude just being honest.

I have a copy of this exact watch! I paid $150 in Pattaya Thailand. I have this watch in front of me now and followed all your 'check' suggestions! I honestly cannot find a single fault with my watch! I'm so happy after this review as I feel vindicated on my outlay! It's a doozie!

I still come back to this watch. It was my 2nd watch ever. Despite a Spring Drive,Darth Tuna,SLA021,I still show this and the OG777 Turtle some love. PADI on a blue NATO,777 on the PADI's bracelet.

When I was younger, I owned a lot of seikos. They are extremely reliable, like most Japanese products. I have a 2020 Batman like yours but with the jubilee bracelet. The Rolex is superior in every single way. So really for me, it comes down to value. First off it’s almost impossible to get a Rolex right now especially at retail. Seiko has a GMT right now that I really love for like 375. I think if you can’t jump through hoops or pay the premium for the Rolex, you will still be very very happy with the seiko. They’ll last forever.

Hardlex doesn't scratch like crazy, don't make false statements. I managed to scratch everything else on my watches except the hardlex crystal. So no, no issues with it whatsoever.

Tudor must have been listening to it's customers. They just launched the BB58 Coke GMT in a proper size for a watch. The Black Bay Collection is way too thick and chunky and ugly.

It's one of the few times I have heard about magnetism on a watch channel. Although I have bought watches since being aware of this problem, I dream of a magnetic proof watch that can compete with an OP 34mm but with a lower price . I do have a 'Ray Mears' though. After seeing a cracked sapphire the other day , I'm OKish for ( an ISO) divers with hardlex under £500. Agree about bracelet, misaligned..Seiko's design & that of their dials ( old Seiko 5s e.g. , the sarbs) is superior to alot of others , drilled lug holes, etc.- however yhe Chinese are coming up fast...sorry, do long.

Freaking love seiko! NH34-NH35 work horses. I own a dozen modded seikos with those movements and they are all homage to the Rolex subs gmt 2 and datejust. They look fantastic have great weight to them and they actually look exactly like ROLEX exactly minus the real solid gold. Mine are PVD

Do a review on Casio F-91W vs these watches on the video. drop test, water test, dust test. If you are rich may be a hammer test . :D After 1 hammer hit on Seiko , guys I have just destroyed 100+ dollar, then another hit on casio , guys , I have broken 10 dollar worth of watch but hey look the display is still showing time -- may be or may be not - make that video, then we will know whether it tells time or not after being hit.

I usually wait for the specials and buy a Seiko can't complain about them all work pretty well.

if you add more words to the description it will push you harder in the algorithm. try something with all the keywords like the name Seiko and the name of each watch you review also try to make shorty videos you have a lot of fluff you can edit out and people are more likely to click on a new channel if the video length is shorter and stay watching a video if it can keep there short attention span otherwise good video
