honestly i use dx9 for most stalker mods only one i dont use it for is global war since 30 factions and a bunch of custom maps tend to make the game pretty laggy and unstable

Я разницы не увидел, между dx10 и dx11, можно оставить dx11 - доделать и будет нормальный рендер
Hello friend and I have a problem with the game and I hope you can help me, what happens is that I have a bug in the ground or grass textures when playing at night in the DX8 version, when I shine a flashlight on it the floor turns white. Very white color and the bushes are black and it only happens in DX8 since in DX9 the ground is well with the lighting
Примечательная деталь в DX8 - костры нельзя затушить и разжечь в отличии от DX9-11.

@@hasusw1221 Статика в аномали это отдельная тема, всё тёмное, абсолютно все костры в зоне зажжены изначально до конца веков, из нельзя разжечь и потушить, вот она прелесть DX8 (статики) в Anomaly

Dx11 at 1440p crashes my game after a few mins.
Sorry to be a bother especially after all this time, but you are not using one of DX10/11 most important features: MSAA alphatest! It's very hard to run but makes a MASSIVE difference to vegetation, here in your video we can see the vegetation is still very pixellated in DX10/11 but with MSAA alphatest it's very smooth!

Will switching to different versions negatively affect installed mods? I'm worried that mods won't work well and cause permanent damage to saves or something else.

U used to play direct 8 with some crashes every now and then and now I installed again (same PC) but i. Added new mods and the modded executables that some mods need. And now direcx 8 doesn't work. The game won't even start. Only 9 and upwards work. So apparently some mods or the executables are not compatible with direcx8😊
So I should avoid the 8, but 9 and up are a-ok. Thanks fellas. Best of luck, Stalkers.
@@Sky_Explorer yes but 9 and upwards require condierable More PC power. On my case I had to turn down almost everything to play 1080 p in dx10
@@MarcosGarcia-kx4rb That might explain why my frames suffered in the Red Forest. That map really does test the PC capabilities.
I have a relatively high end gaming laptop and whenever I try DX10 or 11 the lighting is just too much it almost looks blurry and sidoroviches little tunnel looks so red it glowed like a rave. Very happy with DX8
DX9 and DX11 Look the same
if my laptop could only run dx9 with sun shadow smoothly.. at least more than 30 fps but always.. random drops sucks, just like my stupid integrated videocard!
You can always lock the fps at 30 way better and it runs smoother there is also a mod that give better performance and that's the Enhanced Motion Blur Version 5.4 install it with mo2 enable the mblur in the options and forget about it it will do all the work for you. Just a head up default motion blur does not work with dx10 for some reason.

@@user-dx9oy1tr6r If your planning to to play on dx 10 by all means DO NOT enable default mblur in the game options or install the mod the game will freeze up loading i don't understand why it's doing that on dx10. it's working on all other dx besides dx10 it must be some kind of a bug.
@@jerryk7862 nah, I won't launch dx10. Dx9 even barely works woth shadows (without them ala static lighting works sweet, but really seems something not enough...).
@@user-dx9oy1tr6r have you try dx11 it might be better for me it's better than dx9 it runs very smooth and i don't have a gaming laptop i can give you so heads up to set it right, but yeah dx8 i have try it, it run very good but like you said something not enough something is missing.
Dx8 is very dark cuz it's for low end laptop or PC that having hard time running in lightning
If you want the best performance go with DX8 I'm playing Anomaly on DirectX 8. I have no regrets, all that fancy graphics i just don't like them and it makes loading time very slow, yes DX8 might be darker but also it fits the atomo perfect

what about AVX???
AVX is for CPU's that support that feature but even if it does stay with the non AVX don't stress to much your cpu that's my opinion.

basically nowhere. hardware costs more to MAKE than that. honestly the best you could do for kind of recent hardware is buy a used PS4.

You gotta save up till you get around 350$. From that point you can build a PC with, for example, GTX 1650 and play many modern projects with good graphics in Full HD on high settings in ~40 FPS

Been tweaking the settings on a pretty low end laptop, and from what I could gather, DX10 has been the most stable option with the best performance while not sacrificing graphics too much. For some reason, DX9 runs worse and crashes often, and DX11 eats up FPS without much change in visuals imo. DX8 runs the best (obviously). The static lighting can be a bit jarring, but it's definitely the best option if you're going solely for performance.
Can you tell me the tweak of dx10... It would be nice

Dx8 crashes a lot tough. Like I start crashed and your games dies.

Don't see people talk enough about this but I think DX 10 and DX 11 open up a lot more modding capabilities, some mods like heats vision mod required Dx 11 or Enhanced shaders required Dx 10.

I would consider Dx9 to be the best for people aiming for high performance > Lower graphics Dx10/11 is more for people wanting to use other options that become available in settings making graphics better, and of course impacting performance.
Dx8 Is the one that runs better on my system rather than Dx9 Which is laggy as hell

When people refer to “static lighting” is that only in dx8 or also dx9? I’m not sure what to look for visually to be honest.

dx8 & dx9 both on basic offers static lighting with the exception of dx9 basic gives dynamic lighting only on certain objects

Yes, I agree. But here it's different, DX10 and DX11 open up new graphics settings, such as rays, shadows, but in this video I did not include them. But if you play without additional graphic settings, why not.
I run efp on dx9 and it is both stable and good looking,not only dx8 is dark,it makes all textures smeared.On dx8 it felt less pretty than op 2.2
i use directx9 in the game it's almost like the next one and doesn't give me fps drop
DirectX 9 enhanced is the best setting. It looks like DX10&11 but without melting your PC case. Its only drawback is the inability to run DX11 mods iirc.
