I've found where they make a remote system tailor made for the 3 racing winch after I made this work, I also noticed this system has a nicer remote and it's only 20 dollars more with the winch it comes with, which sells by itself for 34.99 on rc4wd, (Bulldog 9300XT) so if you want a remote for your 3racing winch and don't mind wheeling and dealing a bit this might actually be the better option.
