Hey sweet friend..really enjoyed this vlog. Love warm jackets! May you have a lovely day! 💗☺️
Thanks for sharing. You can save on the wrapping cos all your family, friends & neighbours know what pressies u've got them LOL! Best wishes.
Great haul I love Ferrero rocher too they're my favourite haven't got much xmas shopping yet got to crack on with it though some lovely gifts😊
Thanks! Happy shopping! x
nice haul some really thoughtful gifts i love ferrero rocher too to much i agree they are the best x
Thanks!! Best chocolates ever!
Did homeschooling ever come up during the process? I wondered if that would put authorities off approving someone as I have always wanted to adopt but also want to homeschool. I would be ok to send an adopted child to school if that’s what they needed but the social workers would be aware that my current children don’t go to school
We weren't homeschooling at the time so it just never came up. I'd hope that if someone can provide a stable and loving home for a child then homeschooling wouldn't be a problem, but u never know with local authorities. X
When did you start childminding and did you do it all the time or sometimes when you started?
Thank you for sharing your story. It's something we've considered so really good to hear! 😊
@@emilyt7822 ah thanks. I love hearing people's adoption stories. Good luck to you if u do decide to go for it. X
We did an app called Pili pop Français for French games, but they do it in Spanish too. My child enjoyed Gus on the go, but Pili pop lets you practise your spoken language too, and there was a really good variety again.
Lovely vlog . really enjoyed ...🥰🥰
Thank you so much 😊xx
U got loads x
Loved today's video!!!!!!!
Thank you xx
Hey sweet mama! I always love seeing how other moms do homeschool. Loved listening today! 💖☺️
Thanks so much x
nutella look alwys yummy .we eat tjis with bread plus roti also
it's so delicious!
I am not a Christian but I do believe in malevolent spirits. Why mess with them? When in doubt, leave it out. I respect your views. Presumably, you live in Britain where Halloween is not a big thing. I'm so glad I live in Australia where it is not very popular either
Totally agree with you. As you say, it's not just Christians who believe spirits are real and definitely not to be messed with. Yeh i'm in the UK and Halloween isn't that big here.
Christ like TESCO is listening
lol!!
Your fixation with beige coloured items is a good clue to your one-dimensional point of view about Halloween and your adherence to a historical mishmash of stories that belong in the fiction section. On the plus side you seem nice and are a solid 8/10 in the looks department.
It’s awesome to see that there are still individuals who are Christian in our land. God bless you. 🏴 🤲🏻
Hello nice video❤
Thanks!
Wow I know the feeling . Nice video❤❤❤
Hi beth love yours haul do you ever do clothing Primark haul xxx
I love primark but hardly ever go, if I do I'll definitely do a haul!
@@Homeschooling_mum yeh Hun be nice to see I went there today got some lush stuff xxx
1 whole bar is 110 calories. My diabetic daughter loves them as treat snack that not Too high in carbs x
ah im so glad u said! I thought I must have misread it. I love them!
This is a mum who understands kids in general, & especially her own children! I think schools should liaise more with home schooling families - they would learn a lot!
Ah thanks! There should definitely be more alternative provision for children
My B&M is big but not much in the crafty/ stationery section - I couldn’t find even Pritt sticks lol. And yep I spent over £100 too although that was all Halloween stuff which is prob worse 😂😂. Xx
Oh wow, not even pritt stick, that is bad! I wish mine had a bigger stationery section. Love a B&M trip!
Keep doing what you think is right for your children. School isnt for every child. Achieving looks different for everyone and sometimes that doesn't happen until they do something they love ❤🎉😊
You have five children. As i understood you don't hire any teachers(?). How the HELL are going to keep them on track with their intellectual development? I'm pretty sure this story is going to end up with 6-8-year olds not knowing how to read.
There are SO many options for people who hate regular schools. Online schooling, valdorf schooling, zankov schooling and yet people just make the most lazy and cheap choice not to teach children at all(of course, mostly of your expence)
I think there should definitely be more alternative education accessible for children paid for by the government, as an alternative to mainstream school, or perhaps the government should pay tutors so people can afford to home educate ( in a similar way that the tax free childcare works). We pay for our children to have some online tutors, but most of it we do ourselves, i don't find it too difficult. : )
I feel the same as although my littles are 4 and 2 i do like to "see" the work being done, otherwise it seems like days and days of freeplay with no structure and having ADHD i need structure but being the one responsible for it is hard to maintain!
Totally agree! I love structure and routine.
I am so intrigued by unschooling. I don't know much about it. There's definitely a place for child led learning, if they're interested they're more likely to retain the information. But, I also think the more formal method covers a wide range of skills, which we never what we're going to need to know in the future (although I still haven't found a use for some things!!). Just some musings....my little one isn't old enough for school yet but something I've been pondering on! Wonder if you can do a mix of the two?! 🤷🏼♀️🙂
You can do both just finding the right arrangement for you.
I'd love to see what a mix of the two looks like, that sounds perfect. x
Formal learning for us, the main thing I struggle with is the social side..... If I go every week connection with other parents is good but then I've just missed 4 weeks due to having to work and went today and felt like a complete newbie and really uncomfortable.... Problem is this will happen throughout a year that I won't be available so its managing how I cope. My daughter see everyone as a friend so she is unfazed by the break.
We really struggle with the social side, we see lots of children, but many of them are very shy or don't know how to include others in their play. I have to really put in lots of effort on the social front.
I'm a new follower and just wanted to ask why you choose to homeschool? Love your videos ❤😊
The main catalyst was that my son has autism and the school couldn't support him, but now we're in the 'homeschooling world' I'm so glad we made the change. I've got a video about it, but I don't know how to link it (cos I'm not very good technically, lol!!)
Thank you for your reply ❤ I love your videos. Keep up the good work ❤🎉
My Goodness, how intelligent and impressive. No 'coca-cola', fast food and smartphones but fine learning with great role modelling and good old fashioned sharp-end inquisitiveness and enthusiasm. The boys and girls in this video come across as being every bit as well educated and spoken as would thoughtful, intelligent and well-educated children from a the best grammar school (and I do not mean to sound patronising or trite), but without the elitism that entails or indeed the cost (I was privately educated and personally I thoroughly enjoyed it). This is more like education was years ago - focussed, professional and enjoyable. What a great example you set for Homeschooling. Good for you 'Homeschooling Child Mum'. A shame I am not an active parent so I don't of course have a clue what I am on about and and real parents will think I am talking claptrap.
Only just seen your comment. Such a lovely thing to say, thank you!
Well done 👍 you did it again you got a lot maybe the extras you got will save you buying them one week I like Tesco have a lovely week 😊❤
❤ Love watching your videos
Thank you so much!!
How are you? Your Content is fantastic, But your video optimization section area is not perfectly up to date. that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I think your UA-cam channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response. So are you interest to do SEO on your videos ?
You do really well i like watching for ideas for kids as well thank you for sharing 😊❤
Thanks so much 😊
You should have filmed the jacket potato night, I would’ve been very happy to feature in your video😉The feta salad looks delicious, must try that one. 🙂

Oh Beth I know how much you love your kids and you always do what is best for them and everyone around you 🥰😘
Our boy LOVED morning basket at 6! I encouraged him to add his own ideas for the week ahead and that worked really well for the first year. He’s nearly 8 now and comfortably using workbooks for English, Maths & Science. It really is just down to exploring resources and finding out what works best for them. The joy is they get to choose! Bestest of luck 😃
@@emsans5904 love this x
We had to stop seeing a certain friend too due to repeated physical abuse. We tried to work things through with the parents over a 2 year period, however it continued. We had to end that friendship, and thats ok! We’ve made new healthy ones. Just one of the good things about home ed 😊
@@emsans5904 I'm glad you had a good outcome, friendships can be so hard. X
@@Homeschooling_mum They certainly can be! Emotional regulation is very difficult in childhood, especially when it comes from past trauma. Compassion is needed, however it’s equally ok to walk away if it crosses boundaries. 🙏🏻
Hello from Oxford! Another Christian home educating mum here too 👋🏼 ✝️
@@emsans5904 hi! Always lovely to meet like minded people xxx
lots of fab activities! do you only childmind school aged children? enjoy your time off, its much deserved in our line of work x
I childmind from 3yrs plus. Purely out of choice, but I think at 3 they can start to join in with older children better and I can give them the attention they need. How long have u been childminding?
Ahh yes I expect the youngest ones look up to the older ones. I've been childminding 12 years x
