Awesome stout
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Nice little Stout. Can’t wait to see what you do with her.
Thank you.
Cool old little truck! Super beautiful scenery on your drive down south! The mountains and the desert of the western slope is really awesome. Looking forward to seeing the progress with the little truck..👍
Thank you. I really enjoy making trips down there.

Awesome video man. Question would this headers fit a 06 ram megacab with the 5.7
They will
Thank you so much.
You are welcome
Good evening. Question again do you have the part number of the headers I would like to order them.
@pricim5561 jba 1961S-1JT make sure it is the 1jt.
I need that truck in my life
I was offered a once in a lifetime trade for it so unfortunately it'll be gone next week but I just traded my 91 f250 for a 94 club cab dakota with a 5.2 so there will still be a dakota on the channel.
35s look Good on anything! Just curious how you like that brake bleeding tool. Never used one that bleeds back into the master like that one.. Wishing you and your family, a healthy and blessed New Year's!⚡︎👍
Thanks. I agree. It works great. Really easy to use.

I have one just like this, same color and all except mine is a s-120.. Looking to do a chassis swap or modifying it heavily as well because the bolt pattern is a pain. Excited to see this build.
That's great. Does yours have any writing on it?
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 Has an old bakeries logo on both sides, familees breads out in cedar city utah. Supposedly lived its whole life out there as a bread truck before being turned into a camper for a few years.
@hhwcustoms interesting. Most this color where airforce.
Keeping those algorithms moving! I hope Your channel grows fast. So we can see this project get completed! Keep those DrawWorks moving, and that table going to the right!👍
Thank you i really appreciation the support and motivation.
Seeing a little bit of that bump side,,, and body swaps ,,, I can dig it
The bump side is just a trailer, unfortunately, but it will be getting some work done next week. And I know it's splitting hairs, but I consider this more of a chassis swap because I'll be using a motor that is the same family as the one in the one in the metro, not just the one from the Dakota. Thanks for the comment and encouragement.

Been looking for an older 70s thru 80s truck just a nightmare for me to find you ever got anything like that let me know new sub thumbs up bro
Thanks for the sub. I really appreciate it. I mainly deal in Dodge and IH but have had a couple ford. What are you looking for and what condition and price range?
I enjoyed seeing the projects!👍
Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hahah funny I found this looks like we both were fixing the truck and car before we traded you can get it in reverse have to go from 5th and 4th fast then down to reverse I got it down pretty well
Lol. Yep. I kinda figured that out as well. Pretty sure it's synchros. How's the bobcat treating you?
@marcusmayhemadventures6479 oh yeah we figured it was that but was able to drive it every day so didn't figure to put a transmission in it just wasn't worth the down time for us. Its doing grate needs a clutch for sure there's not much left of it but hey it will be a nice car after a getting into just no time yet to start working on it
That's great. Good luck.
Enjoyed watching your 3rd Gen content! OilField content would be nice too! I worked in the Colo. Oil Field for a long time. Wishing You the best with Your channel my friend.👍
Thanks. There is quite a bit more on my page. And will be an engine build getting started in the not so distant future along with some trail runs. My company doesn't allow any photos or videos, so the content won't happen, unfortunately. I really appreciate the interaction and would love it if you subscribed, and shared.

Thanks. Man, that's ruff. Glad you saved it.

Cool video. I've never seen all the details of the interior before. I love the disco 2, but they're so hard to find in good condition being so old. Yours looks very decent. I have a 2007 Defender which I bought in 2021. I learned to drive in my old man's one and I just always had to have one. His has over 550,000km on now and is still regularly driven around the country. Greetings from Cape Town :)
Thanks for watching. Neither have I especially comparing the different gens. The interior and most of the exterior is really clean. it just needs a hood and grill/ bumper replaced. The motor runs great but leaks really bad. But I will be getting that sorted out shortly, I hope. One of my bucket list trucks is a defender 130 pickup. Unfortunately, they aren't as easy to find here as they are in your area.

no offense but why is your nails painted?
Because they are. Why are you worried about it enough to ask about it?
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 just curious
@bluebluered8254 my daughter likes to paint them and I like that it triggers and confuses people along with trying to normalize it. As I don't look like a person who would normally have painted nails.
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 ok
Cool! I just got a 78 D200 that a friends dad had sitting for about 15 years. I’ve been doing some work on it, and I know that the first time I take it out is gonna be a joyride! I had a good time watching your video. 👍
I appreciate it. Hoping to get some more videos out in the coming weeks.
I don’t think I could think of something more aggravating than a problem obtaining a title . Especially if it’s a solid vehicle or one you’ve put a lot of time and money into . Pretty sure I don’t have to remind you of that . Just sorry that your DMV dropped the bomb on you for just trying to do something novel like passing on a desirable Jeep to a new home . Hope it is treated well .
Their really aren't, but it is what it is. Either it'll get sold for a big discount or traded without the title, or it'll get finished and sold for a premium this spring once the title is sorted out.
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 Wishing you luck . Try to be easy on that knee if you can .
@gmoney9588 thanks. Taking it easy is the hardest thing I've ever done lol.
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 It’s good to be young . Do the best you can , while you can .
Sorry that you’re forced to make this heart breaking decision . It is a very brave thing when someone has to let go of such a honey of a Jeep . Just as you do , hoping it will go to a good home with a loving parent . The dauntless engine sounds good . That is rare . Very brave of you to climb into a CJ5 with your knee as it is . People with not such a problem or bad back complain climbing over the body design hump that once was for the fuel filler on the early CJ . I’m not really a CJ7 fan but respect the Jeep . Wondering would it be better for you in the future ? Yeah , it’s different characteristically but I’m sure your CJ5 skills will carry over if you make the move . Since you’re a CJ guy , I don’t know could you see yourself in a YJ or TJ . Love the TJ but high dollar for a clean body and chassis if could be found . A solid YJ is rare too . Sorry that the CJ7 is getting up there in price now too .
I'm honestly not a "cj guy". I've only had FSJ's previously. But I grew up in my uncles, that was built very similar to this one, so when I offered this one for a damn good deal, I couldn't turn down. So, I started learning, improving, and fixing. But I could definitely see myself getting a CJ7 down the road to build out and use like I planned to use this one.
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 A full size Jeep is missing in my life . I never forgave myself for selling my ‘78 2 door Jeep Cherokee . Looks like we will have to see you in a CJ7 and maybe a FSJ too . Hope you get a 360 w/ T-18 D20 and D44’s . Yeah , I still kick myself .
My last fsj was an 82 cherokee moderately built 4.2 and 5 speed. Small lift with cut fenders for 35's and lockers front and rear. Had to get rid of it due to emissions laws that came into effect and couldn't get it to pass and was horrible just seeing it sitting for years.
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 Yes sir , got a little Jeep history going on as well . The ‘78 Cherokee was my first Jeep . My second is my ‘92 XJ , still in my possession but needs work . Had my hands all over it since 2001 . In 2015 got a ‘80 CJ5 . Pulled the iron duke and put a 258 w/T5 D300 . Custom built rear shaft and CJ7 front shaft . It actually runs better than my ‘92 XJ HO 4.0 . Imagine that . Still needs some, tub repair but still fairly solid . Then there’s the 1973 CJ5 torn apart in my yard . Rear frame repair needed but perfectly doable . The tub needs a serious overhaul . Well , it was a snow plow Jeep . That will be my life’s accomplishment . Tore it down , now got to get it back together . Somebody light a fire under me ! Ran when parked .
@gmoney9588 damn definitely a Jeep guy aren't ya. My main vehicular passion is IH. I've had my share of FSJ's and Tin Grill/ Power Ram Dodges but IH is in my blood. I'm the 3rd gen owner of my Papas 67 1/2 ton that he bought new and had taken it apart to the last bolt and am slowly building it back up with my oldest to pass to him. Also have a 57 IH Metro I'm building with my youngest for a camper/ taco truck. A 1960 4x4 Panel for my daughter that she stole the day I brought it home when she was 2. And a 73 travelall that I got on trade for a piece of property and will be getting ready to auction to pay for the rest of the builds.

Nice nail polish, Freak!
Thanks, I'll let my daughter know you liked them, and she did a great job. I am sorry about your lack of security in your own masculinity. I wish you luck in your quest to Mind Your Own Damned Business.
@@marcusmayhemadventures6479 the insecurity in some of these dudes is glaring. Having your daughter paint your nails is badass. That's certifiable good dad activity
ya I think I'm just going to have to start each video by a nail reveal and maybe have my daughter do a how to lol. Cuz I'm going on a month now since she painted the blue and it's still holding strong lol.
Why the hell do you have painted finger nails that’s really weird
It is my sister's work he is our loving father. Stop being mean to my sisters' work, mind your own business
They are painted because I'm severely secure in my masculinity. Maybe you should try that as well. What's really weird is having your masculinity so fragile that it's threatened by what another man has on his fingers.

How are the headers holding up
Last I heard really good. I sold the truck a few months after I sold them but see/ hear it occasionally in town, and they still sound great.
I gots me a 93 LE base as a daily. Yeah buddy! 10 MPG 😂 361 ci
I'm on the look for one to cut up now. Couldn't bring myself to hurt such a great solid truck.
Do you feel pretty with your nails painted? 😂
Thanks for watching
Sorry about the engine. That really sucks. But I’m glad to hear you were able to find a replacement easily. When I got my truck started for the first time I had what sounded like rod knock. It was so disheartening. Thankfully it turned out to be a broken flex plate. 😮💨 😂 Keep up the good work. It’s coming along nicely! 👍 Edit: I highly recommend a clutch fan.
Thanks I appreciate it. And will look into one.
Great looking Dodge!!
Thanks.
