The ICAR- Directorate of Poultry Research (DPR) formerly Project Directorate on Poultry (PDP) is one of the constituent research institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an autonomous multidisciplinary Research & Development Organization financially supported by Govt. of India. The objectives of the Directorate are to coordinate research at AICRP centers located across the country and conduct research on the development and improvement of chicken and duck lines for commercial and rural chicken and duck production.

निदेशक, आईसीएआर-डीपीआर ने एकीकृत मोरिंगा खेती के महत्व और पोल्ट्री फ़ीड के साथ मोरिंगा की पत्तियां खिलाकर पक्षियों को पालने के आर्थिक लाभों के बारे में बात की।
ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research, Hyderabad has successfully established a Field Demonstration Unit on "Integrated Moringa Farming with Backyard Poultry" in the adopted tribal village of Baoji Thanda, located in Mahbubnagar District, Telangana. The Unit was inaugurated by Dr. R.N. Chatterjee, Director, on 9th January 2024 and the director addressed the farmers. Dr. R.K. Mahapatra, Pr. Scientist proposed the vote of thanks.
