Interesting to note that Tim Pidcock and Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (winner of women’s XCO race) both Team Ineos riders, had prototype Pinarello Dogma XC MTBikes for this event and are not available commercially until March 2024. I expect a lot of riders will want them after this event!

I've never really watched this style of racing before but overall it is the stupidest mountain biking event I have ever seen. Completely retarded. The mass start is fvcking ridiculous. It's not a motorcycle race. This should be more like a TT where they stagger every rider from the start by like 30 seconds or a minute... and just let them ride their balls off for 30 minutes or an hour or whatever--and the rider with the most distance in that time period wins. This is just gay. Not even really mountain biking.
