I purchased the game on Steam, but to get the game to work, I have to launch it from the Rockstar launch application associated with my steam account.

Depends on the game. What game are you playing? Emulator or PC game? If for example, you're playing Call of Duty, the game by default is set to Mouse and Keyboard and you'll have to manually change it in the settings.

The game requires fixes and updates that you'll have to download first. Secondly, don't launch the game from Steam, instead go to folder browse and launch it from the folder exe file. (I'll tell you ahead of time, this game is a pain in the A... even though this is one of my favorite SC games, it might be better to download the console emulator version, because it will still have random crashes from time to time while progressing the story).

Every game launcher has controller inputs. If you're using Game Pass, make sure that other game launchers for example Steam, Ubisoft, EA, Epic Games, etc... have all been closed completely. Depending on the game (CALL OF DUTY) you have to manually switch from controller to keyboard in the in-game settings.

It's possible you might have to enter your Steam Settings (assuming you're launching from Steam) and enable xbox controller inputs. Then before launching the game, you'll see a tiny controller icon, click on it and make sure you enable the controllers, then launch the game. I have a video in my channel called, "How To Set Up Any Controller On Steam 2024 [Full Tutorial]" it relates to the Lenovo Legion Go. LMK if this method works out.

Yes, common issue with games that send you from Steam to their own personal launchers (Examples, Ubisoft, EA, Epic Games, Rockstar, etc...) You'll have to download the Ubisoft Connect to your computer first, then have it launched in the background before launching the game on Steam. Preferably, just launch the game from the company launcher and close steam down in the background to avoid controller input problems (keyboard popping up when clicking in the left thumbstick). LMK how this works for you.

I downloaded my copy from Steam. (Off topic, I stopped playing this, purchased a META QUEST 3 and instead throw real punches playing Thrill of the Fight 1 and 2).

Your welcome. It seems all I needed to do was make sure the resolution on the device was set to 1200P and I had to launch the game as administrator. (PS: I would have uploaded the video much sooner, but I got really sick in the month of December. BTW, if you haven't purchased a Legion Go yet, I would hold off. The Legion Go 2 should be releasing in either Feb or March (Likely March like the Legion Go 1).

Have you done a Windows 11 bloatware clean up? Have you gone into your BIOS and selected 6GB VRAM? Do you have programs running in the background while you are gaming? All of these things play a role on your performance. When I get a chance, I will re-download this game and upload a gameplay video with all my settings.

@donkadog8845 Have you slowed down or disabled "antimalware service executable "?" I'll start adding my AMD ADRENALINE SOFTWARE settings. Specific options that can cause stuttering.

It's an application on Steam that has to be purchased ($5 or $7); it runs along side your games (if the game is compatible). I have found that it increased 75% of games and caused issues for the other 25%. Yes, it's still an application worth purchasing. If you look at the top left of the screen, you'll see white numbers. The number on the right is the extra frames created by LossLessScaling which help you get a smooth performance.

@@xavierponce9962 The app is straight forward. Towards the end of this video (03:37) I have the options I use for every PC game on Steam. It's only when you use it on emulators that you'll have to slightly tweak it.

Hellcats? You mean the Hellcat looking car? Understandable, I drive Class A Commercial trucks for a living. The Legion Go was a far better choice than running around with a gaming laptop.

You have search on google "The Complete Abandonware Need For Speed Download List" and you'll find the game and the instructions. I don't believe this game can be bought anywhere.

The Legion Go has 2 USB-C slots. You'll have to get a USB-C to USB adapter or dock. I personally got the RGB JSAUX 12-IN-1 dock.

I read this wrong, I thought it said "Sweet Baby Inc" but now I see it's Star Wars Battle Front. Thanks, it plays so smooth on the Legion Go.

I didn't use the Legion Go controllers in a bunch of my videos, but that was because I couldn't play with a camera in my face. Now I have figured out a comfortable way to set up and play with the Legion Go controllers. The controllers work really well.

I don't believe I have; I would have to double check and see. The only issue I ran into was trying to play with an external controller and the inputs getting all weird on me.

I'll upload another video with AMD settings. Although, I have noticed that stuttering is usually due to extra programs running in the background. I personally removed a lot of bloatware.

​@SlameP During the recording, I used the mouse and keyboard. If you plan on picking one up, I suggest looking into the Lenovo Legion Go 2, which is supposed to perform better. I can't speak on price since I live in the USA and I believe your language is Russian?

I would hold off on purchasing one. The Legion Go 2 has just been announced, I believe it should be releasing soon. If you're on a budget and find a good deal, then go for it.

Now, I'm curious to find out how my device handles Skyrim and what tweaks are necessary to get it to work on max settings. I gave up on Callisto Protocol and Dead Space Remake... I got terrible stutters. I've seen others get those two games to work. Makes me wonder if all Legion Go are made equally.

Sup. Long story short, I'll have to update a new performance test video. I can play GTA5 online with the exact same settings I shared, but this time on 1600P with 70+ FPS. It's insanely smooth.

Yes, I went into the BIOS and manually switched to 6GB VRAM. I used the LossLessScaling settings provided at the end of the video. If you're experiencing flickering and ghosting, double check to make sure your device displays are set to 1920x1200 (Sometimes the display may change depending on which game you launch) Make sure you don't have applications running in the background (unless their required).

Hi, just wanna share something interesting with you. I got bazzite on my legion go, and breakpoint runs way better on bazzite than on windows, most of the time,with 1200p, and high and very high settings, i can get an average of 45 fps on Bazzite and the frames are very stable. But installing Bazzite could be complex and time-consuming, and maybe frustrating a little bit cuz you may experience one or two random failures,but the performance of bazzite is really worth your while

@@instinctopia5138 I heard Bazzite was both great and has the potential to force a system format. Steam should be releasing SteamOS for all handheld devices soon. Since it will be directly from steam, I'd expect an easy install. Thanks for the heads up, it still appreciated.

I own it on Steam, yes. The majority of my games are on Steam.

I haven't tried playing with the track pad. If anything, I was planning to upload another video playing with the joysticks and track. Before this video, I couldn't figure out a way to play with a camera in my face, and now I have a way to do so.

What launcher are you using? From experience, I've had launch crashes with Steam Rockstar games and the fix was as simple as launching Rockstar game launcher first and then launching the game on steam with Rockstar launcher in the background.

@ProGamingProphecy No it wasnt a legion go problem, the game causes issues with their cloud data, so delete that and it works fine

@@khoacaovlog3486 (UPDATE) I downloaded the game again today. It crashed at launch. Turns out I just needed to set the exe files to run as administrator and load up the Rockstar Launcher before launching the game. I decided to experiment with specific settings and now I can use these exact settings in the video with 1600P with 70+ FPS while playing online, it's pretty insane, I can't wait to upload how I did it. Should be soon.

I have never heard of this title. Is there a demo, is it free2play? It's only me uploading videos I currently don't have a team.

Lossless Scaling can make all the difference. Sometimes it causes stutter and other times it allows me to play games as if I were using a desktop computer.

I don't own conviction. I attempted to test Splinter Cell Double Agent the other day, but it kept crashing.

Are you using a Lenovo Legion Go or a PC? I had a decent experience and never even tried to set the competitive potato graphic settings.

It's playable with a radar disadvantage. I played it with the mouse and keyboard. If I worked in an office setting and wasn't too busy or micro-managed, I would totally play.

Do you have "Legion Space" up to date alongside hardware updates? Have you ever attempted a controller reset? Lastly, do your controls work at all... if they don't, then you likely have to reinstall your BIOS.

You want to activate it you mean? The legion go has button shortcuts and if you open the side bar where you control performance, go down to shortcuts and select keyboard.

Yes, it's awesome. The only draw back is the mini map.
