Can’t believe I set alarms for this a half hour before, blinked, and missed the entire stream by three hours. Gotta turn notifications on for your twitch specifically. But anyway GOD I LOVE THIS. Been on board since the Cyclops Saga and my friends don’t seem to understand just how serious I’m being when I call this the greatest album(s) I have ever listened to. Utter travesty to have no one to share this musical with. If I were to tier list these songs, I don’t even think I would place more than 1 or 2 songs in high B. Little Wolf is my all time favourite, but the final minute and a half of Six Hundred Strike is my favourite part of any song, just ever. Both of Hermes’ songs are top 5 contenders, Ruthlessness, Monster, Just a Man, Polyphemus, Thunderbringer, Love in Paradise, Dangerous and Charybdis, Suffering, Different Beast… I can’t even begin to pick a top 5, they’re all so good. (If you see this comment, you can ignore this part, just rambling about the doomed yaoi, in general not to anything you said specifically) I love the Odysseus v Eurylcous(sp) back and forth, like yeah he opened the bag due to his own doubt and curiosity, but Ody put them in the situation to begin with by sharing his identity for no reason beyond hubris. They both fall to the dark sides of humanity, one driven by hunger and that same doubt and the other love and loss. I adore them both, but one gets far too much hate/blame for being ‘just a man’ and thinking maybe one dude doesn’t have all the answers all the time. And aside from that, nothing Eurylacous did intentionally led to anyone’s deaths, whereas Ody intentionally killed six people to save, if no one else, himself. They both unintentionally killed 550 or so people in a joint effort of foolishness. Your response to him after Thunderbringer is perfect. What an idiot, no excuses, I’m sad he’s dead. And thank you for the defence of Calypso. Nobody seems to realize she’s cursed to never leave, and any time someone is cursed to stay with her and finally falls for her, they are then allowed to leave. It’s messed up. Anyway, what a fantastic story. I cannot wait for the Ithaca saga, especially the song alluded to by the prophet in the verse that starts with “I see your palace covered in red”, vague in case you or anyone else avoided the snippets. Call me a nautical mile, because Man I Love Epic.

Truly Barnacles’ first ride or die (mostly die). Also, “is everybody on the server a cop” was great foreshadowing to Day 4.
