Cayden, brilliant use of the Joyo for a piezo tester!! I try to remember to always test the piezo before gluing it into the neck (and then test again after installation). Look for a box to be headed your way tomorrow. New guitar is going to be awesome! Mark

Cool boxes. Maybe you could have the person that painted the boxes paint the headstock. I think that would be amazing.

I suggest you put three sound holes on the player’s side of the box. That will keep the top cleaner.

It looks like you scored some interesting material for future projects. I reviewed the JOYO plug and play amp on my channel a few months ago. It’s a decent little piece of gear.

Hey, Cayden - thanks for sharing. Was doing the same thing just this morning with my Shinto - your neck is looking great! Headed back to finish the sanding - time-consuming but I usually find it relaxing, just zoning out on working those curves and making it smooth. Mark

shaping the neck is my favourite part of the build to. I use a rasp (non-shinto) to get the initial area at the body and headstock in shape then use a spoke shave to blend between the two. then copious amounts of sanding for smoothness

Get a farrier rasp! It makes short work of neck carving! Nice tune!
