When we apply 2 Peter 3:8 to the ancient Hebrew concept pointed to in Genesis 1:5 (every 24 hours is actually two "days", one light and one dark) and we calculate the number of the "days", factoring in leap years, for 6000 years (according to the Abrahamic cosmology), then we arrive at a number too close for coincidence to the number science tells us the age of the earth is!

Very interesting thoughts. I like how you show that God is a part of everything.
If the Lord has really called you to do this, then he also knew how many followers you would have both now and in the future. Follow his voice, and his plans will be fulfilled by your faithfulness. As you said, You are an important part of this equation. We must all do our parts so God's plans can come to fruition.

Yes!! Thank you! I have one of those bibles and really love it. I love flipping between The Scriptures, the Amplified, and of course, there are about 4 others that are interesting to cross reference and learn from.
