MESSAGE SOME DRIVERS HAVE RECEIVED FROM THE CLEARINGHOUSE:
If (driver name) is unable to find an employer or prospective employer that is willing to direct him for an RTD drug test and report the negative result of the RTD test in the Clearinghouse, there is an alternative process available to assist him (or her) in resolving this issue. (Driver name) may choose to register as an employer and self-identify as an “owner-operator” in the Clearinghouse. He can then designate a consortium/third-party administrator (C/TPA) to act on his behalf in the Clearinghouse in limited circumstances.
Once (driver name) designates the C/TPA, the C/TPA will be able to direct him to proceed with the RTD test and report the negative result to the Clearinghouse on his behalf. When the C/TPA reports a negative RTD test result to the Clearinghouse, (driver name’s) operating status will change from “prohibited” to “not prohibited,” thereby allowing him to resume driving a CMV and performing other safety-sensitive functions. Importantly, the subsequent follow-up testing plan prescribed by (driver name’s) SAP must be administered while he (or she) is working in a DOT safety sensitive position.

After I did all my requirements last year. I tried reaching out to and could never get through. Mr. Charles referred me. So I gave up

@@MarkoShannon1933I tried them too last year. No response. So once I lost everything I said forget this and joined the army. So hopefully by the time my contract is up it’ll be cleared in clearing house.

I still have my license, my issue was nobody wanted me or called me back. So once I lost everything I joined the army. Once I finish my contract I should be in the clear on clearinghouse. By then I’m praying and hoping I’ll have my own truck and trailer. Atp I want to be an owner operator

What if you did the rtd for a trucking company and a few follow ups then leave trucking for about a year or 2 will u still have to complete the remaining follow ups?
Good Question - yes you will have to complete them. More than likely you will have to start the process over.

Now lets pass a law to fine companies that dont hire sap drivers after they paid the consequences and paid money to return to duty. Fuc FMSCA. If we paid all that money then that means we know and understand that we made a big mistake. Life happens
Yea I wish we could just fine them so they’d stop but it’s their choice unfortunately. Im about to start the SAP this week and I was informed that companies shy away from hiring SAP drivers because the insurance rates are much higher to hire us.

Hello I had the DOT medical 3 months ago and was issued for 2 years, I went to my visit with my primary doctor and I was referred to urologist that recommended to have a sleep study, I took the sleep study and showed that I have a very mild sleep apnea. Do I need to reported to the company to get recertification from DOT or Can I wait until my next DOT medical?
Hi ! While we're not experts on DOT medical cards, it’s possible that you might be able to operate without one for now. You can recertify when it expires, but please ensure you stay in communication with your company.
How can we save our cdl if these companies wont hire you other than for the use of weed any other drug is a No.

All of the people that was pushing this clearinghouse mess, was democrats. Keep that in mind. Even when you complete the program it will still show for 5 years. So you’ll still deal with the problem of employers turning you down.

Do you think by 2028 self driving truck would take over the trucking industry
Regarding your question about self-driving trucks and whether they will take over by 2028, we’re not experts in this area. However, I do anticipate that we will see an increase in self-driving trucks on the roads over the next year. They are already being deployed, and as production ramps up, their presence will become more noticeable. While they might not completely take over, we can expect a significant rise in their numbers.

If it gets down graded do to a violation do I have to go trough 2 school all over again?
The only circumstances that would require you to return to school are if a significant amount of time has passed or if your Clearinghouse prohibited status is related to a violation that resulted in a court-ordered suspension of your license for a specified period.@dantezamundio679

Hi I am in tx I received letter from dmv , which was mailed to me for my downgrade CDL to Class C on 06/25 I receive letter in mail on 06/28 & i got my medical done & emailed to them on 06/25 Do i still need to take my test again or not?
