Romeo and Juliet - Romeo at Juliet's Grave (Excerpt for 8 Trombones) #trombone #lowbrass #music
This was a short excerpt that Drew and I recorded last year for fun. It was written for 5 tenors, 2 basses, and a contrabass trombone! Hope you enjoy!

Bluecoats 2023 Bass Trombone/Euphonium Head-Cam
12:15 HOTDOG
hypeeeee😝
0:01 is that who i think it is 🤨
So the person in the beginning is the drum major for 2024 bluecoats, AWESOME
0:01 isn't that the winning 2024 bluecoats drum major?? antonio gamez? you marched with him?!?!?
@@dukkcc2 yes 😎
Wonder why very few in the crowd
Enough already with the band instruments.. more dancing too
Let’s go I’m the 100 subscriber
Yes!! you deserve something for this but I don't know what
@@TheChristopherKemp I feel honored lol
listening to cams of the backfeildish players is so weird to me as a high school band member, everyone playinging a little ahead of the beats is weird to listen to
The chords are really satisfying to hear
As a rifle, doing that with a slippery gun is crazy
you guys did amazing!
YO THAT STAGING SITUATION IS CRAZY!!!
I was thinking the exact same thing. In these marching shows there are little moments that I miss seeing and if I was this guy I would be like man this is a real cool vantage point

Phat
Best night of the season. Bro, when the rain hit right after the drum feature in Bump, 🥵
Nice playing, Chris
Yall did great on that wet turf in that kind of listening environment. Take it from someone who performed that same night in the same conditions. Just incredible. The respect I have for other corps like this. Doing great work.
wow i see me!
I just started playing Bass Bone a month ago, those pedal G’s are a monster to play like that. Awesome job playing that part
10:56 the other trombones barely miss each others heads
Question for you, chris. What mouthpiece are you playing bass bone on?
I used a Shires 1 1/4 MD!
Thank you, sir. Right now I use a Douglas yeo yamaha, but I might get one of those. I'm actually thinking about trying out for bloo next year on bass bone.
That's one of the worst listening environment I've ever heard props to y'all for being in time
With every headcam posted I’m more and more impressed on how clean everything was. Horrible listening environments for everyone and they did amazing.
That’s Bare minimum
i love the “hot dog”
Ive played tuba for 7 years and recently started bass trombone. Those G’s sound amazing.
Same bro how’s it going I just switched a couple weeks ago for jazz band
1:01 the pedal D goes crazy
Holy shit my tuba ass could never
🥵🥵🥵
Yo the other bass trombone was a former head drum major at my hs
this isnt a rost but all the bass trombone notes sound like farts witch i find funny
Chrriiiisssssssss!
1:02 That low D cleansed my soul 🥴
My tuba ass could never
He jumped down to that D1 so easily too
ME TOOOO OMGGG
damn
TONNYYYYY
Tony gamezzz
Kinda funny how he played a grand total of 3 notes on the bass trombone at the beginning before switching to euphonium
with the cleanest pedal D (i think) you've ever seen
those first notes rattled my brain through the screen
What camera are you using?
wow you did an incredible job anticipating the bass trombone part during bump, that listening environment sounds like hell
it's more just look at the hands and don't listen to anything
@@tyronium2 lot easier said than done
@@foosingtonall of the sounds need to hit the box at the same time, which is difficult when people are staged in different places on the field
@@cactus17863 im pretty sure at that point in bump, the hornline is spread across the field from 30 to 30, so yeah pretty far 😭
@@foosingtonat that part the only people playing is the trombones who are all pretty much next to each other with the bass trombones slightly behind them
Man your articulation clarity in the pedal range, absolutely phenomenal playing!
I just started marching for the Fishers High School marching band as a cadet so I've never been to a real competition and played a full show. All of the vocals that you guys have are very interesting and cool. I was also there I loved your show.
w fishers
I kinda wanna play Bass Trombone now I’m in HS band
@Bloxified ok
What GoPro did you use here? Also amazing job
Is that a pedal D in the opener?!?
which bass trombone model was that?
Could be wrong but looks like a YBL-822G based on the valves
That'd be my guess too. It's the Douglass yeo model yamaha. I play the older one, the ybl-622
Dayum that’s a nice tone 🤤 I’m a bassbone and euphonium player at my school too and absolutely loved your guy’s show, favorite of the season!
1:02 woah
New favorite UA-cam vid
This is awesome man!
Clean transition man 12:07
The bass part 🤯😳
Such an awesome part
