The Jungle Part 2
The Jungle that just keeps going. Its one of those tracks that is not that long but takes bloddy ages to get through. We are getting exhausted at this point we have been riding the hard stuff since early this morning starting at the Mintbush track. But the show must go on.

Great video, that pink tape was very reassuring when you're in the middle of nowhere.Did you ask yourself,"why am I doing this?"
@14:45 A pulley and a light rope is good also. The other guy can just walk down.
Love tracks like this 👌🏼 Awesome adventure
well dam, glad that i have never found a track like that yet 😮 darn good video mate and well edited 🙃👍 yeah your mate needs a chin mount 🤣 no good being a telly tubby 🤣 keep well you two and ride safe-ish 😉🍺
Have to change your name to George..........George of the Jungle.......😁😁 Garth
Hey yer that's a good one. One thing is for sure swinging through the tree's would have been faster than pushing through the ground.
A 3 part vid, an ouchy side, vines, prickles, suffering. And I think you still have to travel up. Loving this.
Great Video As Always. 👍
Thanks Mate. Appreciate it. May the constant joy of being attacked by mother nature continue in the next one.
Do not trust Google. They show heaps of trucks which have been overgrown for 50 years. And they would not delete it
This is true. I did have a look on satellite imagery first. And saw what looked like bits and pieces of a track. I suppose you never know until you go. Maybe that's half the adventure. Defiantly not the first time Google has sent me up the garden path. And to make it even funnier this was actually called a road on the map.
Another good vid. What brand mirror do you use ?
Mate these things are cheap as chips. In 2 seconds you can pop a new one in. they fold away to nothing and if you ever get pulled up your legal. 👌 www.mxstore.com.au/p/Ballards-Folding-Mirror-Set/29-L35-108-b
@@simovision5894 thanks a lot . Recently I went over the bars and the mirror mount broke my rib . So simple the idea of folding it out the way 👍
thanks. music a bit too loud
Hey thanks for the feedback very much appreciated I have been working on sound design so this helps. Cheers 🍻
great riding boys
Thanks Mate more to come 😁
hahaha , dont yah love it when you find a "TRACK from HELL" 🤣😂 nealy kills yah but when you get out you feel sooo good 😁👌 even when your knacked 😎👍 cant wait for the next part 😎 keep well mate and ride safe-ish 😉🍺
Hey Jeff, yes I do love a challenge. However this track got worse before it got better, but right you are the last bit was fun.
All I can say is; "Clutches have improved massively over the last ten years" !!
Oh you got that right the hydraulic clutch on the Husky is amazing.
If you want to see gnarly overgrown singles, come to the Otways we have many dodgy bridges to cross lol
Ok I think your scaring me just a bit. After this track I look twice at seriously overgrown tracks 😆 But knowing me I would give it a go anyway.
@@simovision5894 yeah it’s good fun until you get on a ride that takes 6hours to do 20klm lol
Yep I'm hearing you Check out our Bellthorpe ride it was like that.
Grows some balls and up it would ya .. Soft as riding right there
Bhaa Thanks mate your welcome to give it a go and show me how to pull throttle in there.
Good to know there's plenty of action near my sisters place 😂 great job guys
Mate if your Sister lives there, best you go visit. There are so many side tracks out there that are not on any map that I saw. And great riding in that area. If its not overgrown that is. Ha Ha
@simovision5894 it's certainly on the "To-Do" list for this year. Just waiting until I rebuild my kdx200 and get her registered again 👍
Jesus' boys there's no half-hearted way of riding with you :) awesome little adventure, keep up the great riding fellas. 😆
Thanks Mate, Gotta love a good adventure, This one was a bit crazy, but once your in your in.
Now...that brings reality to the term...BUSHWACKING
Dam Straight it was just a constant whacking. Cheers mate 🍻
I was waiting for the "Are we having fun yet?" Don't say yes because that place is awful.
Ha Ha someone has to say it. And it sure wasn't me. It would be a great track if you had a bobcat with a hedge trimmer attachment. 😆
@@simovision5894 Well I'm going to have fun watching you blokes get out of there.
@@dalewyatt1321 part 2 goes live tonight
🔥🔥🔥
Cheers 🍻
is it in nsw or vic
Nowra NSW check out my mintbush vid. I show a map of both tracks and how to get there
that looked fun but hard mate 😎👌 at that speed your mate would have been fine going down to 5-6psi with a tubed tyre 😁 but if riding fast then deff a no go 🤔 ran my ttr250 once down to 4 or less psi to get up a rough as guts track (steep rutted and wet ) then road it home (120ks) no real problem . only found out i had let it down that far when i pumped it back up the next day 🤣. next time i might take a gadge and pump it back up 😮😮🤔 keep well mate and ride safe-ish😉🍺 ps , i run D606 front and rear😁👍
Phil's rear tyre started to come off the bead. And for some reason drop pressure out. He was around 12psi. After he pumped it up a bit it did seem to last the rest of the day. I did like that track. The next one not so much 😱
Great ride...just a few obstacles😂
Mate. Loved it. So much fun that ride.
When was this filmed?
this was filmed back in Early march this year. I'm running a bit behind on my vid's due to a major renovation at home amongst other things.
Thanks for the reply. They’ve had a huge amount of rain in April/may, and plenty of storms since. I was hoping you went through after that so I could see how the track was running.
@@pauldavies5541 be interesting to see but appart from slippery rocks and deep mud puddles it should be still good. Mite take a saw just in case. The next vid track. Bugger going in there after all that rain
Didn't know Husky made rock crawlers.....Garth
Yer they do. 😁
Depending on your tyres side wall but i run 4 psi rear on a maxxis desert it usually get 2.5 k out of it looks like a lot of fun 😂
Hey Jimmy yes I have dropped back to 4psi on the rear for the hard stuff still use around 7 or 8 for the more flowy rides otherwise the tyre starts to fold over in the corners. I run 4 in my Trials bike and that tyre is super soft.
there was a chicken track around that first hill you all got stuck on .. there is also a single trail in their that goes continuiously for over 1.5 hours , the hardest hill there is HELLTHORPE hill , its carved on a tree (welcome to hell)
Mate that's cool. Can you drop me a pin on maps to Hellthorpe hill if you can. I'm intrigued. Also to the start of the single trail if you have it I mite need to go check this out. Thanks
Was the naughty word track Dooloo Tops track? Mungungo Pub looked way to good to not stop! Cheers
Yes Mungungo pub is a great place to camp and base yourself for a few days. As far as the naughty word track goes I can't remember. There are so many tracks in that areas. You could spend a week up there exploring.
Hi mate, what gamin unit is Phil using and thoughts please? Thanks
Thats a good question. I believe its a zumo xt from my experience with Phil its hit and miss. Goes off track a bit. I still like using gaia on my phone but it can be incorrect sometimes as well. I have not seen the perfect system yet. But going very remote i would probably use a garmin.
@@simovision5894 Appreciate that, thanks.
13:11 Most aussie thing you could say
Ha ha ha had to go back and check it out. Thats funny.🤙
great vids guys sore arms after that ride
I think my knee and shoulder were not loving me enough to not worry about the arms. 😁😁😁🤙
Awesome comments from another Victorian legend thank you for the upload mad veiws and some sketchy puddles ,dams ha ha not quite im sure some of the darker water crossings were deeper than they appear to be. 10/10 👍🇦🇺💎
Hey thanks Mark. Glad you enjoyed that one. It was a very interesting day thats for sure.
I checked the Amarok rego on Vicroads site, it was cancelled on 13th Jan 2024, so it arrived there a bit earlier than that.
Thanks for the info. I may well just become part of the track now.
you've changed everyones life with that information thank you so much
Was that into Lee Ceek? Killeen climb?
It was right on the spur track. Coming off castle hill track. On the map it says 70mt rock face very steep. They were not joking 😁
Never looks steep on camera until the bike tips back vertically! Good watch mate. 👍
Yer thats for sure. Been in that predicament a few times. Mite go back one day when i feel like punshing myself. 😁😁 Thanks 👍
Mark Townsend was nuts taking a T7 on that track if you're struggling on the 350, I guess you're picking harder lines
Yes at this point im starting to pick the hard line. I would ride a T7 through there. Just pick all the easy lines. Not as fun as a small bike on the hard stuff. But still well worth doing.
F*#ken Mint Bro 👍
Ha Ha Parden the pun. Thanks. More to come. and one day you may visit it yourself. 😁
Awesome track, loving the commentary along the way. Can’t wait for the next episode
Thanks mate I'm putting a bit more of the track in there just to show everyone what its like in there. Hoping its not getting to boring but its such a cool track it deserves a few episodes. Thanks for watching and your comment.
@@simovision5894 it’s certainly not boring, I’m really enjoying your style of commentary, editing and where you ride. I think putting it all into multiple episodes works well, it gives people something to look forward too waiting for the next one, rather than cramming it all into one video….
Thanks for that appreciate it
ua-cam.com/video/YtwXGgABR14/v-deo.html
Thanks mate very interesting. I have not seen this before. 👍
Cool track Simo 😎
Thanks Mate it gets better and after Monkey gum. stay tuned for the TRACK FROM HELL. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great vid mate. What cc is your bike
Thanks Mate I'm riding a FE350 2019
its a good ride but much harder in a 4x4...
Dam straight. 4x4 be hard core.
You were talking about tubliss i run 4 in rear and 8 in front ,all about traction 😂 great vid mate
Hey Jimmy thanks mate for that. I run 4 in the rear of my Trials bikes. Mite try it at on my next enduro ride. Cause 8 in the rear is no good on the throttle on forest track the tyre starts to fold.
Good vid mate. Monkey Gum is fun but 6 stage is better after you go through the creek there's a track a bit up to the left that is the start of 6 stage
Man i wish i knew that when we were there. I did see a few single tracks heading off in both directions on mintbush and monkey gum. I figured there was a few more great track out there. Thanks for the info if we go back down ill be sure to find it.
Wicked ride video mate. Ive been running the TuBliss system both front and back for a few years now and rate it also. Its adjustability to run at low pressures is the winner. Best mod you can do on an enduro bike for trail riding. Cheers for sharing
Hey thanks for that. Im absolutely loving the tubliss system. Brilliant for enduro riding. Stay tuned it gets better.
Good stuff, very engaging, felt like i was there
Hey thanks for that i thought it may have been a bit boring but it does get better and then goes to a total shit show 🤣🤣🤣🤣 mite take 3 episodes to get there.
It’s funny , went it from the top in my vb commodore 20 years ago . Azza from east Ringwood
What the actual F. That would have been mental, how did you even get on that track in a VB commodore. Or was it more of a usable track back then. Cause there is no way in hell you would get it out in the condition its in now. 😱
@@simovision5894 , true story , maybe 91 , pumped up back suspension, Mt Terrible - camping, mate from upper Yarra , deer hunting / trout fishing , started the track …. And couldn’t turn around once got going . wow mate that would have been one hell of a ride. Very cool I'm sure I would have jumped in with you if I was there.
Did that exact same route in Feb in My ranger. Pretty Hairy going. Amarok was there then.
Yes i think it may be one of those far to expensive to recover type arrangement's. I could imagine that track would be wild to do in a 4wd. Were you going up or down ?
@simovision5894 we were coming down. We took Scrubby Creek track back up. Thats was knarly made Billy Goats look like a park bike track.
be near impossible to recover
Dam man I saw scrubby creek track. The tracks in that area are crazy steep. And yes agreed I think Billy Goats gets a good wrap but there are so many other tracks that are a lot harder.
I was thinking a Elvis chopper would get it done. But who would pay for that. I'm thinking it will stay there forever.
Great Ride Fellas! Very knarly and entertaining 👏 I'm buggered just watching yas...😅 Hopper can get stuffed if he's thinking of dragging me up there..✌️
That's funny Juddy. I don't think even Hopper wants to do that track. I'm not even sure I want to do it again. Cheers 🍻
Friggin steep Brother, Far out, Hoppers cheeks are flappin, He knows my evil mind is ticking over. In my backyard too...😂 Hmmm...🤔
Ha ha As evil as you want to be to Hopper if you give this track a crack take a tent and plenty of food. Or install a winch on Poor Hopper 😁😁😁🤙
@simovision5894 🤔 A winch! A bloody Helicopter. Well done mate, true adventure.. 👍
No really put a winch on Hopper. you have the skills and it will be the first winched Hopper. Just think no more pushing and you can tackle any crazy hill you see. 😁😁
