I just made this and solve the problem in my Durango 😎 thanks bro
ditch the SaE for xt60 for expandability
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Happy thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm full of bad decisions. I would have kept going too.
I have a 2008 jeep grand Cherokee 3.7L is the location the same ? Going to try in the morning 🤞🏼 I miss my jeep 🥹🥹
Only Amazon USA? Not in Europa Amazon?
So much stuff. My goodness. Even us full timers dont have that much stuff. How did it go though?
Same problem for the same reason with the same results and the same fix. Thank you so much. The module he’s referring to is actually under the lip of the spare tire housing. It looks like this guys had fallen out from its original location. Great video. Thanks again
Nice. Same exact thing has happened to my Challenger today. I missed my lunch because i was stranded. Then I learned about removing the Start/Stop button. Great video thanks for the helpful info! Happy Thanksgiving! TRUMP 24
XT60 connectors are cheap, often cheaper than SAE connectors and do not have the reversal thing you mentioned. Try those next time. They should be absolutely overkill for your circuit as they are rated to up to 60 amps.
Thank You for good info!
One of my favorite signs to see...pavement ends...always makes me happy. (mark 7:22)
Hahaha Me too!!!
My daughter just moved about 30 minutes from there. Is Little River worth hauling my dualsport for days riding?
@@davidrewis3629 You can do about. 20 mile loop or explore side roads when they are open but there is really only about 30 total miles of roads to ride. It's definitely worth going to but don't expect TONS of riding it's QUALITY though.
You will find that the early Jackery 500 max input is only 80 watts
Good to know. Thanks!
Did you cross at the first big water crossing? You didn't show it😢
No I didn't cross the first one, I chickened out cause I could not see how deep it got AND PLUS ALSO haha I wanted to do the whole loop I had planned so I continued on.
Thank you for sharing, looks like a beautiful day and a lot of fun.
I would be worried about draining my car battery too much by charging these other batteries off of it, maybe not being able to start my car. Is that ever a problem for you?
Just downloaded the new route!
That was definitely tougher than your norm. Thanks for taking us along.
t was NO JOKE especially for me. Of course those with 50" lifts and 75" tires will say is CAKE and a PRIS can do it Hahahaha
@@Vman1313 🤣🤣🤣 Not having a winch on my vehicle has encouraged me to turn around rather than trying some tricky spots. That should probably be my next purchase.
It’s crazy to see this , it looks like your a hundred miles from The city !
Right!?!?!? I had to edit the million times I said "and we are only SUCH and SUCH miles from downtown Atlanta!"
Are you using the 500w inverter on the jackery? If not, you are basically charging it 5x and putting wearing and tear on the lithium cells on the Jackery. And if you are you are basically using the jackery as a very expensive 500w inverter. It's better to just keep the jackery as a backup and run a 1500w inverter off that giant battery.
Where did you get the input 8mm input cable from. I have ordered 2 different cables and none have worked. I dont wanna have to sell my brand new Jackery because no cables work with them unless it a jackery cable.
This is the 8mm to solar panel cable I use... amzn.to/48fLzzq
...and this is the 8MM to SEA caboe I use. amzn.to/40cW4BI

I don't know where you are, but I am glad to see things relatively untouched. I am in the CSRA (Columbia County portion of the Augusta area /Central Savannah River Area). We were hit hard. There are still neighborhoods around me without electricity. Still, my prayers go out to those in NC. I have never seen a mountain flood. I didn't think it was possible.
@@barnpostmedia I'm near Commerce and VERY thankful we were relatively untouched. I didn't realize how hard Augusta and area got hit. My cousin is in that area and had a tree fall on their house and no electricity for quite some time. I guess all the attention has gone up to NC and lesser hit but still affected areas didn't get as much attention. So sorry to hear and hope all is well soon for y'all!
Didn't work for me i tired it doesn't do shit all b.s
Is that a lift 2.5?
What kind of tires is them ?
Apparently afraid to get wet/muddy. Always walk a bog / water crossing. That way you can tell holes, stumps, and how much traction. No mud terrain tires Didn't air down No lockers Went out alone Don't free spool after winding all the cable.
Should have puled out more cable to start with, would have saved you some work. Good job otherwise.
Did you have enough line and snatch block that you could've doubled up to halve the load on the winch? Also since you were pulling to the side and repositioned your anchor thrice maybe re-spool the line between pulls so that it is not bunched up on the corner and there again being nice to the winch motor. But what do I know I'm just a enthusiast myself. In the end, you got out without perment damage and that's all that counts in my book.
@@MauroMarzorati Great points that will help me and hopefully others in the future. I considered respooling but knew I was going to be making a couple of pulls because first 2 trees were TINY and didnt want to push my luck with each so as soon as I felt I had moved forward enough I reset. Thanks again for good points!
Connect the winch controller cable to the winch before entering the area that you are concerned about. Also when off road have your recovery gear readily available. I do recommend replacing the steel winch cable with synthetic line as it is safer. Run the winch controller cable through the open window. Making use of left foot braking will help and airing down the tires as soon as you hit the dirt. Other comments below are also helpful. Let the winch do the work and try not to spin the tires. Keep winching until the vehicle can move forward without spinning the tires.
@@randymoore2410 Great points and something I will admit I am too lazy at is airing down. I actually have a synthetic line to put on but told myself I'd wait til I had to respool this one before replacing/installing. Thanks for good advice for me and others.
Not sure if it was mentioned, maybe throw your shirt or hat on the line next time to damper it incase it snaps.
@@thomasbenfield9192 Now that you mention, I thought about throwing my floor mat over the cable then my mind went elsewhere focusing on other things and never did. Great point to add. Thank You!
@@Vman1313it’s completely understandable! I’ve only had to use my winch once so far but it was a very sticky situation. Hard not to get tunnel vision and do things all in the correct order. I think you did great and the advice in the comments is all gold 👌
I rate it a 8. When you don't do something all the time, it's difficult to be perfect. You got out. We're there things you could have done better, yes. But it seems you've already identified those things.
@@pappajag I'll take an 8 cause I gave myself a 6.5 maybe 7 hahaha! Big deductions for leaving door open and worse of all leaving car in drive when I got out once Hahaha! I'm a school teacher so maybe I am harder on grades haha
@@pappajag PS....thanks for comment and insight.
Man that Dometic mattress is comfy!!!
So glad you won that thing!!! Good Times!!!
Mr V it's me Eli from mr allen's class
Man! You save my life 🤣🤣🤣 thanks! Greetings from Poland!
Glad it helped!
Spray over the advertising with black vinyl paint
A lot of people are not considering that the smaller the generator the smaller the mppt controller that is not letting too much juice enter the small battery to keep it from frying.
I did the same but it didn't work for me please give me a solution
Sorry I am no mechanic, this was just a fluke issue that rose and I happened to stumble on the fix which has helped many others. Keep searching UA-cam and maybe read down in the comments here to see if any others fixes may help your issue. Good Luck!
Very very good🎉
Your 12V voltage converter is only rated to 5 amps, Watts=current X voltage, so 5amps X 12V= 60 watts. You need a 10 amp voltage converter to get 120W max charging.
AHA!!! I wondered what was up. Thanks!! Always learning.
I use that converter in my bluetti I use the 12v to 24v 10amps and my bluetti charges at 188w it has an input of 200v max
I know this a two year old video but I’m going to try this tomorrow
@@Mr.Goodman-Hue Obviously there are a host of reasons a key might not work and this is just one of a million things it could be but I have several people a week that try it and it works for them as it was there issue so I hope it works for you.
Ever deal with the valves on that ?
Thank you I'm going to try this what happened with mine is I was backing up and I didn't judge right and I backed into the mailbox damaged the tailgate went to the junkyard found another tailgate swapped over everything hiring us and everything but now every once in awhile it does have that damaged key so I will check and see if that piece is broken or damaged or unplugged thank you very much for your video
You save my life!!! 🙌🏻
Thank you so much you fixed my problem now I need to see how can i get my factory subwoofer back working 😅
Could you link the trailer co that made your trailer?
Just got the same one and that branding bothers me too! Did you ever figure out a way to cover it? Just curious what you did.
It wasn't the "branding" as much as the full fledged advertisement, company moto, inspirational quote, hotline number, web address, shoe size, and well thats as far as I got reading it Hahaha! Let me go find a link to what I used to cover it.
I used this matte black vinyl. Had some laying around and was to be a temporary fix but its still sticking strong even after 2 1000 mile plus trips, rain, sun, etc. Had I taken my time and put it on better and cleaned the awning better, I think it would be a perfect fit and solution to covering up. I have a KickAss awning in the other side I am going to cover up with it and do a better job installing. amzn.to/3A7t8A2
Thank you for posting, planning to redo the exhaust on my Tahoe. Currently catless with a glass pack and axle dump. Can hardly hear myself think when I drive 75. Putting new cats on and going with this setup. Seems to have a slight rumble but not quite like stock! Should be perfect
Yeah, as much as I loved the louder rumble it wasnt practical for long distance driving or YouTubing hahaha! Really loving the quiter ride with still the hint of V8 power.
