Idk this is cool but I don't feel comfortable agreeing with it till another content creator explains that it's a good scene first. Maybe Moist Critikal can make a video so I'm allowed to care about it.
Brilliant showcase of acting

Beast system.
Surprised this doesn't have more views. A video for each of the 24 reasons would be amazing!
I am not, but I appreciate the kind comment :) After all I did call out the oligarchs and their corporate corruption and encourage people to boycott them, that type of thing tends to trip the censors of those Alphabet Corp A.I. censorship/down listing algorithms and my posts get shadow banned. I like that idea of a video for each reason, thanks for the inspiration. I just updated the original article to have a 25th reason for next year, here it is: gavinmounsey.substack.com/p/25-reasons-to-start-a-garden-in-2025 I`ll think about doing a video for each reason after I get some more work done on my next book this winter.
It's amazing how people from both the right and left sides of the political spectrum can view this clip and hear the same exact view of the world
One must ascend to the Presidency of the Robotic Workforce Union and use this position to inspire a return to humanity.

This ENTIRE planet is a Soul Trap Prison planet. I have released six podcasts in my channel talking about this.
You're being your reality. Tom Kearin knows.
I enjoyed the information especially the explanation of Paw Paw medicinal characteristics. My great uncle, who was an eccentric old man cut down all the red cedar on his Kansas farm and planted thousands of walnut. He had paw paw growing under them. That’s where I first saw this tree. I never realized that paw paw was unique in its ability to grow with walnut. This fall we were temporarily living in a rural area of south Korea. My husband who is South Korean and an expert in plants of this country mentioned to me that he saw an unfamiliar fruit tree growing in someone’s yard. We went out there a few days later and I recognized it partially by the weird smell of the leaves that it was a paw paw tree.
Wow that is so interesting, thanks for sharing your experiences and I am glad you appreciated the medicinal info. I have done in depth species profiles (on my blog which will become chapters in my next book) on two trees that are a big part of Korean culture which you and your husband may appreciate. Ginkgo Biloba and Pinus koraiensis (Korean Stone Pines). I`ll link the articles below for you. 1. Ginkgo Biloba : gavinmounsey.substack.com/p/ginkgo-biloba 2. Pinus koraiensis (Korean Stone Pines) are covered in this article that touches on multiple pine species: gavinmounsey.substack.com/p/pine-nobles-of-the-global-woodlands (here is a link to a quote from the article on pines linked above, that should be able to bring you to the part of the very long article that focuses on Korean Pines specifically, in case you want to skip the rest: substack.com/profile/43807786-gavin-mounsey/note/c-83831336 ) I may make videos on those species above sometime this year as well as I am propagating both species from seed for Regenerative Agroforestry (community food forest) projects locally. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
I looked at your blog this morning and have got to say, all that research must have taken forever! I notice in the introduction you mentioned that you aim to be a source of free expression in censorship. Some of my Canadian relatives have told me that they can’t even see certain news sources. Knowing that I am impressed with all the information you have on your blog about covid spike detox. Doesn’t that mean that your blog gets blocked? I didn’t realize that the korean pine nut roots had that water reservoir, but it makes sense. When the road cuts come through the mountains near our home they cut down so many of those pine nut trees and the area rapidly dries right up.
This week on “ever more confusing and vague ways to describe capitalism”
It’s not just bored. It’s uninterested. People aren’t curious how the world around them works or how it was shaped by eons of war, strife, discovery, disease, survival, suffering, kindness and death. Or the true nature of things. A peek “behind the veil” if you will. And in that vein, many suffer without understanding why or even knowing they are.
The main problem with such dystopian narratives is that it mostly accounts for the bad. Is silent about the good. And does not really provide any solutions.
Movie Title is ☝🏿 My Dinner with Andre (1981)

I get his point, but to me it just feels like the typical American who is too accustomed to his way of life and is complaining because he thinks that NY is worse than most of the world
Mythical recommendation pull. "Many of Mankind's problems stem from not being able to sit in a room alone" - Blaise Pascal, Plato's Allegory of the cave, "Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt".
I planted 3 small seedings 2 year old paw paws this October and have about 20 seeds stratifying in my fridge right now. I hope the seedlings survive and some of the seeds sprout. Stouffville, Ontario
Nice work! Be patient with the seeds next spring if germinating outdoors or use a heating matt, I had some that were stubborn and did not wake up until an august heat wave earlier this year.
That's why black & brown folk used the term stay woke for decades until white neolibs ripped off black twitter & turned it into Fox news fodder.
That was inconceivable!
I lived on an old farm in West Lincoln Ontario with a good forest. I had Osage orange with the large thorns that had been planted most likely to be fences, they were large when we owned the farm. I planted several other kinds of trees after I paid to have the University in St. Catharine's forestry Department come through to tell me I had some unique trees on the farm. I bought and planted 6 Pawpaw baby trees, they were coming along well but had not fruited when for many unwelcome reasons back then mid eighties I had to sell that beautiful farm. I always wondered how those trees made out and if the new people loved them as I had. Thank you for the memories I am pretty old now and appreciate this show.
Hi Nancy, thanks for sharing your experiences. If you would be interested in trying to grow them again I do offer seeds to anyone that is interested and is a paid subscriber to my Substack blog. I have about 2 dozen viable seeds left at this point in time.
Girls cheating Has pushed me to be an empty shell of a man I only work to buy more beer to feel better but yeah women have changed the world upside down “Me too movement” But then “men aren’t men anymore” that schizophrenic behavior is the reason I just let women come and go when they want It’s all the same to me
Wow. Just wow. I blind bought this on Criterion Collection last year but haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I will remedy this tonight. Fascinating how prophetic this scene is...😮
Very interesting for people that are unfamiliar with Pawpaw but two comments, it’s Juglone not Jugulone and I’m highly doubtful that was old growth.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, correct my pronunciation and share your doubts about the info I shared in the video pertaining to the ecological succession stage of the forest. Shade supressed trees (such as the 50 foot tall Pawpaw tree I have my hand on in the clip at the beginning of this video) which are growing underneath super canopy trees often grow at a much slower rate with regards to their girth and height) as compared to trees grown in full sun or part sun. I have been growing and interacting with pawpaw trees for 2 decades now so I have been able to compare their growth rates in cultivated settings, vs wild settings and in the case of this particular grove, I have access to pictures of the specimens from 30 years ago, so I know their approximate age. The individual Pawpaw tree and surrounding grove aside, would you care to elaborate on why you are doubtful that the forest surrounding and above this grove is old growth? If that was indeed what you were expressing doubt about.
95 % of southern Ontario was cleared for farming in the late 18 and early 19 hundreds. Therefore the only land that wasn’t cleared was swampland and very inaccessible tracts. To be considered old growth it must have trees that are in the late stages of their life expectancy, in the case of beech that’s 400+ years and that beech was nowhere near that. It may be an advanced aged tract but there are very few “old growth” forests in southern Ontario. Even the shagbarks weren’t that old.
@@leethurston4774 Yes numbers and statistics are good, and sometimes they are true, then again, sometimes they are not. You are right that government encouraged ecological illiteracy, short sighted greed, anthropocentrism and ignorance led to clear cutting most of the forest in southern Ontario in that time frame. However, even the most merciless idiots with axes and cross saws sometimes (either by the grace of God or perhaps just dumb luck) miss a patch here and there. The videos I have shared here do not represent the oldest trees in that forest so your suppositions are irrelevant and inaccurate. There are beech, oak, tulip, black gum, sugar maple, black walnut and basswood in that forest that are in that age range and their fallen comrades of the same size in varying states of decomposition are also present. The forest is only 400 acres so not a lot of space for the true expression of undisturbed Carolinian Forest to do its thing and show its true splendor, still, the topography, soil samples and species distribution of 200 year old plus trees (growing in the proximity of equally large fallen trees in various stages of decomposition) tell a very compelling story. The micro-topographical variations in this particular forest that I have surveyed in conjunction with soil samples tell me the story of how the core of this forest has remained undisturbed (as far as plowing or mechanized logging) and that large extreme (150km plus) wind storms took down large groups of giant trees over a century ago, and they were allowed to remain in place, and go back to the Earth. Even so, some 300 year old plus trees remain alive and healthy. Your method of deduction based on what you have read in books and found on the internet does not account for the fact that we are fed many lies in text books and reality is often more nuanced than the black and white reality we are fed. Just as the conventional forestry industry spews falsehoods and propaganda about primary old growth forests being "decedent" and portrays ancient trees as "greedy" in the interest of perpetuating their immoral profiteering and ecocidal rampage in logging the last bits of old growth, the text books that tell you what is and what isn't possible as far as ancient advanced indigenous agroforestry systems and what small patches of old growth do or do not exist are also full of lies. I am not sure why you are on such a crusade to declare that this particular forest is not old growth, but you might want to actually do some legitimate field research, check and cross reference the satellite images and learn to question the dogmas before you make assumptions. You wouldn't happen to be someone working in one of those government funded "sustainable" forestry (tree profiteering cartels) would you?
@@gavinmacmounsey I’m a forester
@@leethurston4774 Thanks for the reply. Well the title forester, in and of itself does not say much. As in a similar sense to how "Doctor" or "Nurse" says very little, considering how both of those professions were involved in the implementation of "The Final Solution" in Germany in the late 30-s/early 40-s (watch "The Killing Nurses Of The Third Reich" for more info) one can either do their job in a way that is cowardly and nefarious, or choose an honorable way. Similarly, someone that is involved in zoning, licencing and fining/preventing logging of specific trees, can either choose a path that involves integrity, ecological literacy and humility, or they can choose to greenlight the kind of logging I exposed in this essay: gavinmounsey.substack.com/p/death-by-a-thousand-clearcuts

It’s funny how humans have been saying this exact same thing for thousands of years. In ancient times they were against reading and writing because it “dulled the mind” For some reasons, with humans there seems to be a tendency to think we are unique and different. Each generation does and says the same thing. The paradigm shifts and technology advances but we repeat the same broken human cycle that our parents and their parents did. We all live to suffer and die, just laugh while u can or while you have the chance
