The X37 ought really to go straight from the bus station straight onto the motorway and avoid Mollinsburn, Condorrst, Greenfaulds and Cumbernauld Village to be a proper express.

I was on the first one from Waverley at 9:15

This bus was new to Lothian Buses plc as 704 in 2004 and entered service from Marine Depot delivered in Lothian's simplified version of the harlequin livery. In Summer 2005, it was renumbered as 659 to make way for a batch of 50 Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied-Volvo B7TL's numbered 701 - 750 meaning 659 (SN53 AVW) was re-numbered as 631.

I would say the very start of the journey is Gardenhall, not Hairmyres. But I could be wrong.

The ill fated 23 connection to the Citylink cosch at Harthill. Hairy Haggis seem to have great traction for everything to do with Citylink apart from the 23 connector.

I gather the X25 and X25A no longer serve Mollinsburn and Condorrat during the daytime. I see that the boundary with Falkirk Council area on Google Maps behind Abronhill. If only McGills X36 and X37 from Falkirk snd Stirling to Glasgow did the same ss Stagecoach and also avoided stopping at Cumbernauld Village and Cumbernauld Asda. Ths X25 and X25A are proper express now between Cumbernauld and Glasgow. It's worth getting the train from Falkirk Grahsmston to Cumbernauld Ststiom and then changing to the X25 or X25A at Cumbernauld Station to Glasgow Buchanan if you need to trsvel to that part of Glasgow as it can be quicker than continuing by train at Cumbernauld Station all the way to Queen Street and then coming down to Buchsnsn on the 398 bus if you need to use it to go there.
